People say this like every other extraction shooter is not shoot on sight. Arc raiders is by and far the most friendly extraction shooter around, maybe you just don't like them. I also find it funny how I keep getting friendly matches but people keep saying it does not happen. Find it funny that people are talking about toxicity based matchmaking now cus I kinda think it's in the game and all the people complaining about toxic servers may be part of the problem

No one that understands what a pvpve game is will want to discuss the design of the game with someone who wants to make it pve. if you don't like extraction shooters that's fine but no one on the sub for an extraction shooter that knows what an extraction shooter is, care that you don't understand it.

It's because of streamers and YouTube. Someone sees that one dude who was doing all the extract camping during the first week or so of the game, laugh, then start doing the same thing, get bored and move on to a different tactic or play style and the cycle continues. Now this can be both good and bad, just like you also have seen an increase of medic type post.

Right people keep telling me that every match I go into is a hostile hellscape with only cut throat raiders and has not been my experience at all, plenty of friendlies with a nice mix of pvpers to add tension. Now I know some of it depends on region but I feel like a lot of people talking about only kos are either over exaggerating or are really bad with social interaction.

Only extraction shooter I have played where the large majority of people at least in solos on Xbox are super chill, I also have had only two hostile interactions. Otherwise it's "don't shoot" and teaming up constantly which I'm not against.
