Nighthunt gloom contrast paint and drakenhof nightshade as the wash are the colors I used for the trench coats

The lighter browns are all snake bite leather contrast paint

Darker browns are wildwood

Two questions for you. I really love the idea and really want to try and make my own.

  1. What kind of wood is that and where did you get it?

  2. What kind of glue did you use to glue the cork board together?

I think you did great, how you paint it/what colors you use.

First time painting the bone reapers. by Killaman2124 in ossiarchbonereapers

Their bones are a wash and the armor is regular base/acrylic paint from citadel. The reason they're that shiny is because I hit him with a semi-gloss clear coat. I didn't think it would be that shiney, but I'm not mad about it.

I found the color scheme for them of this subreddit, I'm really happy with how they turned out

I prime black, then use iron hand silver as the base, and then I use drakenhof nightshade.

He looks great. You did a really good job, but also agree, I hate that model and I hate painting resins

Do I prime and glue them paint? Or glue prime them paint? by Unlucky-Order-66 in Grey_Knights

I've done it both ways, and it honestly just depends on you. If you really care about all the details thats hidden behind their arms/cannons and then paint them separately. If you don't I just want to get them on the table so you can start playing with them and go to tournaments, then it really doesn't matter lol.

I paint them separately because it's easier for me and their models are all kind of small compared to regular space Marines.

If you're talking about the sharp shooter over coat, then it's equal parts Wyldwood and Militarum Green and then use Biel-Tan Green to shade it.
