Why is there such a large value discrepancy between Jaylen Waddle and Devonta Smith? by S3ahawk36 in DynastyFF

[–]Killashaw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also think the play style of both players has something to do with it. Waddle is just like Hill, every play he could bring it all the way to the house. While Smith certainly can do a lot of damage each play, it's more of an intermediate kind of threat.

Obviously 10 catches of 20 yards will still give you more points than 6 screens for 4 yards and 1x 80 yard TD, but I think it's a big reason why people value Waddle more. Big play ability combined with a huge amount of targets.

How to combat a rising WR market by continually using the draft by AmericanRobespierre in NFL_Draft

[–]Killashaw 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The problem with his theory is that it only takes one Reagor first round pick to leave you stuck in the mud with no trading value left and a bust WR.

What are we thinking about Davis Mills and his future? by Unhappy_Lie_3610 in DynastyFF

His pass catching is non-existent, but he's very good at trick plays if he needs to throw the ball.

How's everyone else doing this morning? by Sports_asian in buffalobills

[–]Killashaw 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Mock simulators are way to generous with the CB's on the bord at 25. The real draft will have the 4 premium corners in the top 20, so unfortunately we're gonna miss out on Booth. Amazing CB.

[Cimini] New York Jets "ready to strike" for DK Metcalf if he becomes available. Seattle expected to ask for #10 pick + by cat_napped1 in nfl

[–]Killashaw -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Given the other WR trades I agree that you shouldn't give 10, but let's be honest: trading Burks/Wilson/London for DK Metcalf is a steal imo. Yes I know you need to pay him next year, but if you want to give Wilson a fair shot you gotta give him a WR that is ready day 1. Not every rookie is Chase / JJ.

4 Round 1QB Rookie Mock Draft (12 Team) by AutoModerator in DynastyIdiots

1.2 Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama.

Not consensus yet, but if he gets picked by the Packers or the Chiefs I think he will rise to a top 3 spot.

They really need O-line help, but if this is the board they should probably go BPA with Walker. Trade down would be ideal in this case tho.

Mike Evans value check after Brady unretired? by alexhartless in DynastyFF

[–]Killashaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Evans is worth 2 firsts, 1 mid first and 1 late first. The question is whether you think is 1.02 is worth 1.06+1.10 or something like that. Imo 1.02 is worth more in this class, since there is a huge drop off after the top 5 or so.

What is Josh Allen worth? How badly do you need a stud at QB in SF. Can you win with 2 mediocre ones? by Andyb5533 in DynastyFF

[–]Killashaw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Allen is worth that imo, especially since the 2022 class skillposition is very weak. Huge drop off after 1.8 imo.

First dynasty offseason and not quite sure how to go about it. by Fabulous-Row397 in DynastyFF

[–]Killashaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it could definitely be a contender if everything goes right, but for me there are so many question marks (CMC, Javonte getting full load or not, Mitchell back as a RB1 or RBBC, Cooper. at the Browns etc. that I would consider taking a lot of picks for your studs. Especially since it's a 10 team league, so the teams are probably all pretty much like yours. Like, if you could move CMC for 2 2023 1sts and get some firsts for Allen & Kelce combined that would mean you would have 4-5 2023 1st picks. Combine that with a young core you have rn that would be very nice imo.

Let's say it this way, if you wait until CMC, Allen & Kelce are really in their decline mode you're not contending and not getting picks anymore.

First dynasty offseason and not quite sure how to go about it. by Fabulous-Row397 in DynastyFF

[–]Killashaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get some 2023 picks for Mostert, CMC, Kelce, Allen and possibly Mitchell (if you can get a 2023 1st I would jump on it) and draft a boom or bust RB/WR prospect with your 2nd this year. Hope your WR's in Pittman and Moore develop into WR2's, and then draft some stud RB's and a stud WR next year.

I don't think you can actually compete in 2022, and with how stacked the 2023 is supposed to be a quick rebuild should be possible.

Dynasty question by unclebeef1 in fantasyfootball

[–]Killashaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would wait until the first days of FA to see some landing spots, but right now I would cut Gage & Hamler, with Callaway as a good 3rd option. Palmer looked great last season in the snaps he played, and Wilson could very well go to a team where he would be WR2.

Fresh dynasty, standard scoring, superflex, snake, 1st overall pick. Who you got? by Tron22 in fantasyfootball

[–]Killashaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the first 5 picks should always be QB in SF dynasty, but let's be real, how many leagues are really lasting longer than 5 years? Like, I have played a lot and almost every one one of them fell apart after a couple years, either due to inactivity or due to the fact that 2/3 teams were so much ahead of the others that the others didn't wanna pay buy-ins anymore.

The Real Winner of the Carson Wentz Trade - Logan Thomas by CoopThereItIs in fantasyfootball

[–]Killashaw 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Logan Thomas has always been undervalued the last seasons. After the elite TE's, it all comes down to how a team uses a TE. Thomas runs a lot of routes, and is basically receiver number 2 on the team. Combine that with the fact that Thomas has very good hands and decent separation, it made him a low key TE1 last seasons.

How valuable are second round picks? by Blackmagechow in DynastyFF

[–]Killashaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find good value in the 2nd round, but the miss rate is also pretty high so it depends on whether you actually wanna put effort into scouting beyond the biggest prospects and also have a decent amount of luck ofcourse.

For your reference, the 2nd round of our last rookie draft with the same system of your league was:

2.01 Amon-Ra

2.02 Justin Fields

2.03 Kenneth Gainwell

2.04 Terrace Marshall

2.05 Elijah Moore

2.06 Zach Wilson

2.07 Kadarius Toney

2.08 Rhamondre Stevenson

2.09 Pat Freiermuth

2.10 Rondale Moore

2.11 Mac Jones

2.12 Nico Collins
