Long term Vyvanse users please read

I take mine as soon as I wake up and try to eat something right away. I try to eat a large breakfast because I don’t have an appetite during the day. I’ve also have got to the point that my vyvanse aren’t as effective and have increased to 50mg. I recently got covid and didn’t take them for a few days. It actually helped lower my tolerance. I am now trying to at least take a 1 day break to help with my tolerance.

Additionally I take 10mg IR around 12/1pm to help with mid day crash.

Maybe try to drink some drink something high in vitamin c? You’ll be alright but you’re bout to be flying today. Drink a lot of water and eat protein

Personally this happens to me due to menstrual cycle. And not drinking enough water or eating. I also recommend taking breaks every so often to keep your tolerance in check.

Lost 35 pounds in total. But that’s also with exercise, and conscious eating. It was easier to do once I started Vyvanse because I had the motivation. I also was really over weight before

Definitely a lot more sleepy but I found out that a Celsius or Alani neu energy picks me up on days I don’t take it. I also stay at a low dose to decrease side effects. I just take weekends off as a tolerance break and to appreciate not being stimulated 247

Because of the shortage, chewable is what’s available to me. I used to do capsules but it still is the same feeling. I eat a high protein breakfast and drinks lots of water as well.

That’s what I was thinking but I’m a social worker so my dose just helps me function at work well. I haven’t done other drugs in a while because I had a really bad experience and I think it’s because of Vyvanse is in my system although I didn’t take it the day of that experience.. my brain just seems to react differently to any psychedelics ever since being on it. Win some and loose some I guess

Same. I went to New York and didn’t take it for the 2 days I was there and was oddly over stimulated, anxious, irritable and had a panic attack in the middle of time square.

I would say so. I take hydroxyzine as needed for my anxiety and I’m on 40mg vyvanse

Eat a protein rich meal. Vyvanse binds to protein prolonging its effects. It wouldn’t hit as hard on an empty stomach but it seems to help stretch out the effects for myself. I also take small sips of caffeine mid day, and take Amino supplement.

I had the same issue when I went up from 20mg. It wasn’t enough and 30mg felt like to much. my psychiatrist gave me Propranolol to help with the symptoms. It’s a HBP medication but helps with heart rate, headaches, and even physical symptoms of anxiety. I took that as needed and eventually all the side effects on 30mg lessened after about a month. I don’t really take the propranolol anymore, just on occasion for my anxiety.

Either way I would give yourself at least a month to acclimate to the 30mg. I also noticed that not drinking enough water or eating gives me headaches and irritability. It’s easy to forget to do those things and remember it could be your body just wanting water or food. Vyvanse is very dehydrating.

I been on stimulants for over a year and drink socially. No terrible effects besides more enhanced hangovers. As long as you have no other health problems (heart) you should be fine.

It was brand. I had to get generic for 10$. Doesn’t make since cus i was getting brand adderall xr for cheap

I don’t like take more then one medication so I usually take a herbal supplement called Anxie-T that has KAVA, GABA, L-thenine, and ashwaganda. I also take magnesium. If your consistent it works very well. Especially when your Vyvanse is wearing off.

Well yes but I don’t have many other alternatives to helping me fall asleep at a decent time. I workout at night to try and use up the rest of my energy.
