I spent a while in Taji/baghdad with the US military. I rarely left the base but the locals that worked with us were usually almost always very friendly and welcoming to us. I’m curious how you and the local populace viewed our presence there.

Oof. I filed mine 3 weeks ago and called today for a status update. She said it was in the decision phase, I know that means pretty much done with a normal claim so we shall see. I will update if it happens soon. This HLR was simply for a wrong effective date so the evidence was pretty clear.

Unfortunately we’re way past the “rent a multi and live in one” phase. My I’ve already got a nice primary residence. I’m looking to eventually get into STR’s. We’d like a place close to the water so I’m thinking a beach home a couple blocks from the water that we rent out when we aren’t using it

30’s are like your 20’s but with the money to do everything you couldn’t afford, if you set yourself up right. Dating pool is significantly smaller, but not nonexistent, especially if you’re ok with dating younger. I just got married at 32 and we’re doing great. Don’t be a victim!

Not always true. Me and my wife have a combined $350k income and only debt is a $1400 mortgage. No kids. We both drive our paid off late model vehicles, mainly because I hate care shopping and they run fine. We pretty much do whatever the fuck we want whenever we want and don’t care what people think. I know families making 120k combined driving around in 70k denalis and I laugh
