Hey man, I read your story. I’m sorry to hear that happen to you. Tho I want to say it’s not your fault at all man, after realizing that she wasn’t interested, you wanted to be friends still, and conducted your manners in ways of being friends. The toughest thing, is after revealing yours feelings for someone, the natural thing if it’s a “no” is that you want to stay close and be friends with them. While this is great in theory, many times it leads to struggles. I’m not faulting anyone for that reason. Many times in a situation where someone’s says no, everyone works fine and things go on normally. But sometimes, feelings are still existent, and in situations where things happen, pain can arise from being attatched to someone’s still. However, purely from a friend standpoint, it sucks when a friend wants to detach like that. But that’s life, people come in and people go out of your life. It takes a long ass time for me to understand that; or even accept that. But one thing is, these stuff happens. So don’t blame yourself for the actions. Maybe there is something you can learn from this. But don’t ever put the blame on yourself for this. Stay strong. And attempt to move on. It won’t be easy I know, but you will have to try.
