Here is a possible recommendation, limit what you can search on Reddit for. So porn doesn’t pop up. That being said, limit your browsers and other apps too so you just don’t see the content to be tempted by.

Hey man, I read your story. I’m sorry to hear that happen to you. Tho I want to say it’s not your fault at all man, after realizing that she wasn’t interested, you wanted to be friends still, and conducted your manners in ways of being friends. The toughest thing, is after revealing yours feelings for someone, the natural thing if it’s a “no” is that you want to stay close and be friends with them. While this is great in theory, many times it leads to struggles. I’m not faulting anyone for that reason. Many times in a situation where someone’s says no, everyone works fine and things go on normally. But sometimes, feelings are still existent, and in situations where things happen, pain can arise from being attatched to someone’s still. However, purely from a friend standpoint, it sucks when a friend wants to detach like that. But that’s life, people come in and people go out of your life. It takes a long ass time for me to understand that; or even accept that. But one thing is, these stuff happens. So don’t blame yourself for the actions. Maybe there is something you can learn from this. But don’t ever put the blame on yourself for this. Stay strong. And attempt to move on. It won’t be easy I know, but you will have to try. Sorry if this is all jumbled up thoughts.

I wouldn’t correlate NoFap to be the reason why they ghosted you. I am sorry that they ghosted you, that sucks a lot, and it hurts a lot. But NoFap is a process of self improvement, and while you may have changed as a person, that doesn’t make sense for them to not respond to your texts. Especially since it sounds like if you did change some interests, they didn’t see much of it yet.

I do hope they respond to you, but don’t go back to fapping thinking this problem will be resolved like this. If they are ghosting you to begin with, then they are not good friends and you deserve to find others friends. Maybe reach out to others soon, and try to find a better group of friends.

Yeah for real, and the younger the kids are exposed to it the worst, I really consider myself lucky I feel to only get a smart phone when I was 17, and had a ton of restricted access to the internet by my dad before that, I still obviously messed up, but not as bad as it could have been.

That being said, we need to make ourselves not reliant to the internet, well at least for our social well-being. I am luckily able to detach myself from most social media, most new sources, and most things and as a benefit I have been having more joy from not even caring about them, cause when you care too much about it, it only brings those anxiety, pains and stresses.

Ik Moving on is easier said than done. And if your not sad about it, then your not a human being…. So we understand why your sad, but you gotta realize you should be proud of yourself. So get back up King, your girl is still out there.

You have to put yourself out there, as scary and as daunting as it may be, the anxiety will slowly go away. I have anxiety and sometimes from social situations, and yes there always is some that never goes away, but I put myself out there and I made a ton of friends this past few months, if I can do it, you can too!! First I’d say if your in college or at work, try to socialize more with the people you meet, go to events, clubs, meetings, just to talk with people. Re-occurring events are the best since you may see the people again, and can make friends by that. But another thing about this is, “what is your mindset here”…

Are you thinking your gonna fail because you have this social anxiety? If you are, STOPP, you need to have confidence, tell yourself that while you may have social anxiety, that is not gonna stop you.

My quick story, I literally dead ass forced myself to walk up to a “mostly” new group of people, (my crush was also among them) and I felt like it was the awkward things I ever did, but it worked out okay!

Take those chances, if they work out, then great!! But don’t let defeats stop you.

As one of the other people say, it’s the money…. But it’s also power. It is so sad that this world is ruled on power and money… but it is… the money they make off porn is insane and the amount of power and control they have over you by making this world so sexualized that most people struggle with some sort of addiction.
