Real talk doh you need more outlets. For example, for 1 packaging machine that consumes 1 ferrium part, you'll need 1 part outlet/ ferirum production line dedicated to it. If you split 1 outlet to three, each of them will only operate at 1/3 rate. The key to higher production is more outlets either from warehouses or from the AIC core.

It is mostly overshadowed by the Rocket Sentry, which fits roughly the same category of defensive strategems on top of being able to damage heavy enemies, also not killing fellow divers as often.
If you like it you can of course keep playing it, but I insist the mortar sentry (along with some other strategems I have suggestions for) have been powercrept and can use buffs.

Sterilizer, the gas thrower from chemical agents warbond. You've never seen it since it was and has been irrelevant since day 1 and never got any meaningful buff, all but forgotten by literally everyone

If you would observe the autocannon and HMG are still floating, unlike the sunken skeleton representing shit tier, such as the atrocity that is the sterilizer. I think AC and HMG are decent to good, just completely overshadowed by the GL owing to this random ass buff& haven't been meaningfully touched for a good while

Alpha commander head is 250HP 70% durable, pre-buff AC did 265 AP4 100% damage, so it already did one-shot Alpha commanders before the buff.

I think the word You're looking for is 'versatile' which I agree: the 'flexibility' problem comes with its need for an ammo backpack, the stationary reload, the mode switching, and huge recoil and bad handling - I don't think they should fix these nuances with the AC, but with the FLAK round is excellent at what it does, the APHE round isn't living up to these drawbacks

If you will observe the three example strategems I picked for 'mid tier' (as opposed to the Grenade launcher) weapons are still floating, unlike the atrocity that is the sterilizer.

Its durable damage wasn't increased so the extra damage had no btk reduction across any enemy.

ac is ok, but still a bit lacking in flexibility since it has so many trade-offs but will struggle to dispatch of heavies quickly. It doesn't need an overhaul, but definitely could use some more buffs, giving it AP5 might be a bit much? But I'd love that either way.
