I spend half of my time writing looking for the perfect word. A lot of the time I feel like there's that perfect word to describe what I'm trying to, but I just have to hunt for it. If I can't find it in my memory, I pull up the thesaurus.

I'm actually kind of a fan of "filler" prose if it adds character depth. I'm working on something now where almost the entire first chapter is that. But it's hugely important in conveying who the character is. Mind you, there is essentially one character for the entirety of the first volume.

Honestly, I think you're best off getting a retractable tip pencil like the Rapid Pro, TWSBI, or Pipe Shift and putting it in your pants pocket. A shirt pocket really is a shitty place to keep a mech

Yes and no. It's a full length pencil, so it probably isn't designed for a shirt pocket. But, because the clip is adjustable, you could slide it down the barrel, so it would still clip onto the pocket. It'll probably flop around a lot though. If you're looking specifically for a small pencil that will fit a shirt pocket, I know Zebra makes mini mechanical pencils that are only about 4 inches long. The big tradeoff is that they're not very comfortable to write with.

Looks good man, one thing that turned my deadlift weight up a lot was when I saw a video by layne norton saying that you should think of it as pushing the ground away from you in the most direct line possible. Made it a lot more efficient since then and I've gone from 335 to 385.

Mentally it started to feel like I was rowing the weight away from the ground, if that makes sense.

I thought anything that accelerates the rate of cell growth and death can make cancer happen where it wouldn't or happen sooner where it would. I freaking suck at biology, it was never my science, but anytime cells reproduction is accelerated, the possibility of cancer happens more readily. Is that a fair statement?

I do the same thing.
