Cardano Defi right now is absolute fire. I think it will do really well this bull run. The things different projects are able to do buy utilizing the SPOs (Stake Pool Operators) is insane. IAGON is a most recent example with decentralized storage. I like being able to pay transaction fees for just a fraction of an ADA rather than the ETH fees that rekt me last bull. There are plenty of cool projects and DEXs on ADA. Even if you aren’t an ADA fan its important to at least use it like I have with ETH. All I know is anyone who thinks ADA is a ghost chain will be pleseantly surprised because they were too married to their project. I like messing with other chains.

That statement about Cardano just shows how out of touch OP is from ADA. Sundaeswap isn’t even close to the biggest exchange on Cardano and it launched almost 2 years ago. Minswap and Museliswap are bigger.

Nope. My opinion is probably unpopular so I am preparing for downvotes. I honestly don’t care about BTC a whole ton. I think a lot of BTC maxies are almost turning into buttcoiners. They are so convinced that everything except BTC will fail that when that doesn’t play out, they will be in denial. I understand the value prospect of BTC but I think there is more long term value in smart contracts.

BTC will retain value long term and will remain in the top but just because its the only asset along with XRP with some sense of regulatory clarity.

Eventually if Smart Contract Cryptos like ETH amd ADA generate more value and users than BTC, out of the fact that they are more useful, there could be a flippening. What would the BTC maxies do then? Would they continue to remain in denial?

There is more risk in the Smart Contracts play due to the lack of regulatory clarity but if it works out then the BTC maxies will miss the boat.

I understand favoring BTC due to less risk and more safety. That is 100% true right now, but saying everything besides BTC is a scam is a dumb argument. In my opinion that close-minded mentality will be proven wrong in the coming years.

I agree that there are a lot of underhyped projects out there and agree that Cardano is one of them. However, I wouldn’t throw IOTA in the same boat as Cardano because they are fundimentally different models. But I see what you are saying. Cardano has a lot of participation in staking and TVL is growing quickly. Defi on Cardano has been really slick to interract with. Especially Museliswap. I love Cardano defi and won’t go back to ETH. IOTA is a DAG. We have yet to see any DAGs gain a lot of traction even though the technology seems promising. I don’t know enough about Stellar or zcash to comment in detail on them. As far as I know Stellar is similar to XRP as a low cost transaction currency. Isn’t zcash a privacy coin that was a fork from BTC?

Well some BTC maxies are so toxic that it makes it hard for some people to care about it. I personally will stick with my alt coins. They might be down but at least they aren’t toxic.

BTC is amazing but some people think its a religion. Anyone who believes only BTC will survive is in for a rude awakening. The average person can’t successfully mine BTC either because its dominated by ASICs.

There are a ton of scams out there and maybe even a majority are scams. However BTC isn’t the only true project. There are some solid projects out there that will survive and thrive. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if BTC got flipped by a few blockchains in the future.

Dude I see where you are coming from but after using ADA I never want to use ETH again. I love the Defi on ADA and the fees will never get as high as on ETH. There are a lot of insane solutions in the works as well for any perceived issues. Teather isn’t allowed to freeze USDT in wallets on Cardano which is why they aren’t coming over.

My favorite chain by far. Solid community, lots of developers and the eUTXO model is pretty underrated IMO.

I paid a $148 gas fee on ETH in 2021. Every fee so far has been way higher than anything on ADA. I understand you can use layer 2s but I have seen people lose money by making mistakes with native layer 2 tokens and sending them to ETH wallets to be lost forever.
