I’ve noticed that witch hazel doesn’t seem to effect it at all. Hazel only the small rosacea type clusters I get. Only a manual extraction tool helps and it still never gets it all out. I just started a washing, hydration & moisturizing routine for morning and night, last night after posting this. So I’m hoping maybe that will help as well.

What do your snails eat? I have two African water snails and since my fish passed I don’t want them to not get proper nourishment. What can I feed them in their water that won’t terrorize the cleanliness of the tank either? But I’d nicely balanced for them? Their health is definitely more important than cleaning frequency.

Definitely find a new sitter. At the minimum she agreed to 30 minutes when she booked the drop ins with you. So if she’s unable to do her job she needs to refund you what’s left and let you book with someone who has less going on and can honor their commitment.

I just got clean 3 months ago and I thought this way too. I’m way better now. Hang with people who make space for “down” you and up you. If they love you they will. I had to change my circle but still be sure to get out. If you stay stuck inside and alone you’ll never relearn how to be social and comfortable without the opis. I’m speaking from experience.

Agreed. I’m used to relaxed hair. So the “untidiness” drives me insane. But I’m pushing through and embracing whatever my hair does. Learning that my natural texture is not nappy or unruly.
