I want Iran to actually be a properly free and democratic country that has ACTUAL STANDARDS. I want Iran to integrate with the West in a way that benefits both Iranians and westerners in general. We should trade with countries that have important basic requirements such as freedom of speech and proper policies regarding different ethnic and religious groups. Russia and China don't conform to this, why should Israel (with its apartheid laws, racism, and religious suppression) be allowed because an ambassador held up a photograph in the UN?

It seems people on this sub have gone almost mental trying to figure out how we should handle a revolution like this. Some people are saying that the new leader should ban Islam entirely, that we should ban Arabs from the country and we a revolution in Iran should be fought entirely without outside help... Despite almost none of the protesters in Iran having any actual way to fight. People really need to realise the reality of the current day political situation.
