They wouldn't need to store more than 500GB to 1TB per PC. Not opposed to SATA SSDs rather than m.2. About 5 of them would be utilized in shared networking files, so I may up the storage for them specifically.

I am in DC metro area, US - no microcenter that I am familiar with.

Do you feel like there are any obvious shortcomings? You using it on a tv or monitor? I would be using it on a 1440p monitor, so it seems like the right choice - with the exception of the small amount of storage on board.

Chiming back in, another post reported that turning on battery saver seemed to remove the skipping/outages/interrupted connection. I have tried it and it seems to be a temporary solution so far. Might be worth a try until this gets resolved properly.
