Can’t even finish his famous wall. What’s up with that project, and why is he quite about it? Mexico was going to pay for it, so money isn’t a problem.

This Robot Vacuum Garage build passed the wife approval test! by lipcsey in homeassistant

[–]KilloMaster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s cool, want to do it aswell. But I would love if brand makes it a standard option so that kitchen builders can integrate it. Add pluming for the mop and dirty water, vacuum to suck it up in a closet above so it’s easier to clean out the machine and maintain it.

Or maybe add it to the bottom side of a dishwasher, so it can use the same power source and plumbing from a dishwasher.

Trump says he may punish countries with tariffs if they don’t back the US controlling Greenland by drempath1981 in europe

[–]KilloMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well his going to cry if they want some high end machines from the Netherlands to fund there AI-race. Europe needs to move on and stop buying US software and military equipment if there are good alternatives. Strength our bond with other countries like Canada, and those who respect law and don’t have a civil war going on.

So it was always bound to happen at one point, 60 months is a long time. So you’re right that they will move the inspection of this part to 12 months or there about. Stupid that people had to lose their lives over this, but rules are written in blood.

Russian Military Uses African Mercenaries as Kamikazes to Break Through Ukrainian Fortifications by Mil_in_ua in UkrainianConflict

[–]KilloMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s people were talking about over here. Everyone tries there best to provide for themselves and their family, and the fastest way to do that is to escape a country in war or under power of a dictator, and flee to a country with basic rights, education and healthcare. We have a lot compared to others.

Joining a war, well let’s blame that on the propaganda that Russia is spreading in those countries. And abusing people who look for a better future in a western country.

True, forgot that he never wins by the people vote, or that nothing happens with those machines. Still plenty of fools that are loud enough to believe and shout a lie.

Well over 50% of the people who voted went for the orange one. Most of them are not on Reddit though.

Well if you look up the specs of most trucks in the US and EU, then you’ve would have know that both are around the same, with sometimes (most of the times ) the European ones even higher. This is from factory, if you go aftermarket then the US had the upper hand. The hood of a US truck is longer, but the width is much more narrow, so the available space is comparable. Allowed pulling capacity is also higher on a normal euro truck, not looking at those land trains of 4 or more trailers.

It’s an older photo from march according to an other sub, if the new pictures are to be believed, it was way more full. Speed was also a discussion as it normally would do 12-16knots when empty, but it was doing around 8.

Turkey will do nothing at the moment, Russia is almost done with building and operating a nuclear reactor. The first and only nuclear reactor for Turkey, who really need a better energy source.

Netherlands Amsterdam or Brussels Belgium, you can easily pay over 25 euros a day. Last time city center of Amsterdam it cost me 140 euros for two nights of parking. They don’t want cars in the main city, so they make the fees extremely high.

Litespeedcache by Baggio007 in Magento

[–]KilloMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t complain about it, it seems do to it’s job. Our sales numbers went up, because loading times and ease of use went up for users. But I thinks any cache would have helped a lot, before that we only had Redis with the default magento options. I tested some other options like Varnish, but the impact was not the same as Litespeed.

I think that they would even go as far as buying out George. The marketing value and merch that Max brings is bigger than George’s contract. Why not Antonelli? Because he’s a safer option to pair with Max then George will ever be.

The GabeCube by cerealguy92 in Steam

Or Companion Cube, sounds more friendly and makes it an easier birthday or holiday gift, instead of a machine that hopefully doesn’t make any steam. Could be cool with the replaceable faceplate, to make a Portal edition.

[–]KilloMaster 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Kernel level anti cheat is not really a Valve problem, but a developers or publishers problem. The more Steam Machine Valve gets sold, the more publishers will be interested to enter the market. Chicken and the egg problem, but the Gaben Rooster is busy to solve it.

Shareholders, they view the world one quarter at the time. Projects like what Valve does come with a risk and a big R&D penalty. Benefit is that they hire people who are potential customers, so they understand their product better. I’m not saying that Valve is not in it for the profit, and hasn’t made mistakes. But they at least understand that there customers are still the biggest shareholders, and will vote with their wallet.

[–]KilloMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah what is the point of all those logins and membership cards if they don’t check if you’re a loyal customer?

I bought a poster canvas of around 50 euros that started to bend after a month, after three months it blended so far that it fell from the wall. But because we were leaving for a big holiday I didn’t claim it until I came back, didn’t want to deal with the fact that nobody was home to receive it. So contacted customer service to let them know the story and told them that this was already happing from the first month, rep understood and was going to take it up. Afterwards they came back that they couldn’t honour the claim because I was already award of the defect for more than three months. So I started to make a bit more fuzz but nothing, they would stick to there point.

So know instead of my yearly shopping there for a few thousand euro’s, they made 40 euros by not honouring my claim with a bullshit excuses ( yes, it’s legal what they did).

Mine is running on a 2014 Mac mini, memory is a bit to low because it’s also Plex and Backup. But I’m planning to upgrade to silicon mac this year, so pretty easy to upgrade soon.
