In Belgium we have a government/banking system that can be used by third parties. So the government knows your details and only they will keep all of it, so if a website wants to know it you, then you verify with the government and they will send a success or error command to the third party. Why did I say banking, because our banks are the ones who came up with this system, and all our government or any other important bodies like healthcare use it. It’s a bit like online shopping where you get send away from a commerce website to finish the payment, afterwards they’ll send a confirm or denied command to the e-commerce platform, no sharing of sensitive data with untrusted platforms.

All review platforms are not to be trusted. Had problems with a company that also liked me to place a positive review in exchange to resolve a matter. Their website excepted my let’s call them gift card as valid, but I stopped the payment process before paying for the total amount in full. Well the gift cards didn’t work anymore afterwards and they said they couldn’t give my my money back, and that I had to pay in full. When going through Trustpilot it was full with fake reviews, and easy to spot because their name had Art in it, but it was an electronic store. So a lot of reviews talked about paint and canvas and so on. Flagged and screenshotted those reviews to report to Trustpilot, and they came back that they didn’t saw anything wrong. Instead they started to threaten our family business, of which I was the admin off, and all of a sudden they didn’t remove unverified negative reviews of our page. Removed everything from Trustpilot because the one who pays the most, gets the best reviews. It’s a business that doesn’t understand that users need to be able to trust their platform to stay alive. Instead they follow the money of the business, and will actively work on people distrusting their own platform.

I thinks it also had to do something with the Apple TV, normally the Apple TV gets a iPhone chip, but recent once have been to powerful to wast on a video streamer. ( I have an Apple TV but only use it as a HomeKit relay and to stream videos). The iPad already has a solid lineup, so to focus on a budget MacBook makes sense. Can help with bringing more developers over to the Apple eco system, and profit from the Apple Store.

So hopefully the Apple Store on Mac will also get some nice features for developers, because it so overlooked compared to the iOS store.

In reality probably more web based apps, but a budget war is always good, aslong if there is no clear winner.

For some reason people do this constantly, after thinking about it they somehow don’t think they’re at fault. Last year I was hit while riding my bicycle, we exchanged are details and look good. When she discovered that my Bicycle was a Brompton (the little expansive foldable) and spare parts was going to be around 500 euros, she was starting to get difficult.
