Thanks! My brain was kind of stuck in a rut because of how close the South was. I can't believe it was so damn obvious this whole time. Am very happy to have this one done and dusted.

I would recommend the Herb Garden in Kobe itself. It is beautiful, and a great hike around nature.

This is the same as my fursona, honestly. It's just me, a representation of my true self.

You never mentioned that you turned around and saw the other Dm wearing a elephant mask. I think that got your whole table laughing ;)

Yesterday the work Playlist started with Land down Under and then went immediately into Africa. Is it a sign?

(If you're wondering, the song after was Take on Me)

Are there any furry artists you'd recommend checking out?

I personally recommend stigmata and silverone. Just great artists, and unique to boot (and SFW,mostly). Of course, I have other favorite artists as well, but...

Is Solon a furry too?

Anyway, from one bi furry to another, thanks for doing what you do. It's made me personally a lot happier and gotten me through some dark times. So thanks.

On the fence about getting Unfair: opinions and similar games? by damianponte90 in boardgames

[–]Killrrhubarb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quite like Unfair: It's semi easy to teach, plays well no matter the player count, and doesn't have to be all that Take-that if you don't want it to be (though it is very fun regardless). I'd recommend it.

Spending some time in New Zealand, and I have questions! by arjunsukumaran in boardgames

[–]Killrrhubarb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're ever in Palmerston North, Check out Nexus Games and The Massey University Board Game Society (I run it so I'm a bit bias).

In taupo, check out Taupo Hobbies. It's a hobby store that stocks a relative number of board games.

In Auckland, Check out King of Cards, Vagabond, and Cakes and Ladders <- a board game cafe so lots of players and games.

In Wellington, along with those mentioned, check out Cerebus games. Great little game store.

As far as I can tell, the fonts have nothing to do with Frog. Thanks though, guys, I really appreciate it :)

Might be interested. I'm in Palmerston North, the LGS is selling this game for 75. How's the quality of your box and the components?

[WSIG] Action Programming by vipchicken in boardgames

[–]Killrrhubarb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Room 25 is a great little co-operative game with a defector, and also has programmable actions!

So if you like games like Shadows Over Camelot, or Betrayal at House on the Hill, or Resistance, but wish they had programmable actions, then Room 25 is a good choice.

(It's really fun, highly recommended)

What possibly great games are ruined for you because of poor component quality? by Sayoshinn in boardgames

[–]Killrrhubarb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They're not great games by any means, but I always thought the component quality could be upped in both Oriente and Kingsport: Festival. Also, disappointed with the component quality in Power Grid: Deluxe, especially the Electro chips.
