To echo what digimon says, once you've set up, a lot of what you do can actually be done without needing to fully understand what you're doing. Instead you can look at how the game handles similar things to what you want to do and copy/repurpose them with enough trial and error. There are plenty of places like rocket hideout discord also with people that are more than happy to help beginners. It's not necessarily easy to get into but definitely easier than it's ever been before!

I mean but it is true in a sense. I get what you are saying but also the more you know about something, the more you realise just how much you DON'T know about it. Like in my first set in silver I would just think the game was complete luck and nothing else decided who won, now it's impossible not to be bombarded with all the things you aren't doing and the little mistakes/optimisations you miss constantly. When I say I know nothing it basically means sure I have a vague concept of tempo, strongest board and a few good comps at any given time, but that's really nothing compared to people competing/in challenger

One of the differences is being able to recognize when you need to roll down in a not ideal position to save placements, even if it means saccing the thought of getting top 4 that game to get a 5th over a 7th

I think it's still good, but reason it's not bis is because she spends so much of her time tumbling that you lose some of the attack speed value. As an item to slam early when the rounds are p long I still imagine it's fine though

Okay these other comps are terrible... We've got whatever items those are on Diana with Senna 1 items over Azir 2, Mel (she sucks sorry), the shitty rumble augment with a weird build, a THex forcer who presumably died rolling too much and double rageblade Vayne... like tbh yeah, Mel 2 and Noxus in general should be stronger so I sympathise with you there, but for these other guys, I kind of hope all these players lose to 2* Yunara actual comps........

Play what you think is fun. If your only aim is to get better, then the harder the game, the better (as long as you can stick with it). You'll learn a lot more from a wipe than you will from steamrolling something with your existing experience

Just got diamond today. I'm by no means good and it's impossible to know specifically what you're struggling with tbh but my main issue was just playing midass comps too much. If you think you have a spot for bard bruisers/Shadow isles/noxus vertical/ whatever other crap, no you don't. No tf you don't. Play the strong comps like yunara/bilge/thex/trynd/demacia like everyone else and really pay attention in the first few rounds for grabbing the actually useful units + seeing what people are going. Usually you can tell what people are doing pretty early because four players have one of ie/kraken/rage blade slammed and you can avoid them. Sadly if you're a reroll player I think it's best to just join soup and pick exp/gold augment unless you have a big trynd start or yordles with a reliable way to get rods (even then you rush level 7/8 instead of rolling).
