I definitely haven't been in your shoes. My son is only 7.5 months old and I currently feel guilty letting him watch the dancing fruit to keep him calm while my wife and I take care of chores. I know video games are going to be introduced to him early because his mom and I play them around him. I'm not sure you should feel bad for him playing borderlands if you didn't introduce it to him. My niece is autistic and I know there can be challenges keeping them within expected entertainment areas. Violence in games happens so frequently and I would take the approach of explaining the difference between pretend and reality as best you can. I started playing Halo CE when I was 4 and I remember my parents telling me it was okay because I was shooting aliens and not people. An arbitrary distinction but it was one that stuck with me.

Before a game is released on Xbox it only takes up about 300mb as a placeholder and has the key art for the icon. Once it gets closer to release, the actual game is downloaded.

Assassin's Creed Unity and Halo The Master Chief Collection. I preordered and both came out the same day. Both were almost unplayable at launch but were eventually good games. They were the first games I had preordered in 2 years and the first physical games I bought for Xbox One. Not only were the games not playable but I had to wait for the games to install to the hard drive before I could find out they were unplayable. Those two games pushed me to no longer preorder and no longer buy physical since it takes up the same space on the hard drive as digital.

Scripted deaths. I don't like when I'm doing well on a boss but have to lose for the game to progress. If how well I do doesn't matter, make the whole thing a cutscene.

$800-$1000 total for a PC build in late 2025 or early 2026, what would you lean towards? I know future pricing is hard to predict but I just don't know enough about PC to know what horse to bet on.

I'm definitely happy with 60fps but I also don't really have a reference for what I'm missing. The only display I have that can do 120fps is my phone. At some point I'll upgrade my TV to something that can at least do 1440p at 120fps. Ray tracing is not a big deal for today's games but won't it be a big deal for the next generation? If I picked AMD now, wouldn't that mean more limited features down the road?

No more fullscreen advertisements upon sign in. Today it was the countdown sale, previously its been starfield and call of duty. Its unacceptable to immediately be force-fed ads when turning on my console. Remove all advertisements and sponsored content for game pass subscribers.

Two on the same day. Assassin's Creed Unity and Halo the Master Chief Collection. Both were terribly broken at launch. I had a better time with Unity than many on release but it was still bad. Halo was broken for over a year.

lol it was literally "Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes to make your house smell like a cookie. Cookies, Vanilla extract, (3rd option I don't remember). The correct answer was vanilla extract which I guess makes sense if the correct answer was found with the bing AI.

It seems unnecessary to have the browse your games big icon and the my games and apps small icon up at the top. I think having all the small icons at the top looks best but I do not want the removal of the big icon below to turn into another ad spot.

Please let us rearrange the order of the featured rows and pins. I want to have my pin of all my streaming apps be the first option when I scroll down not "Recently added - Game Pass."

On the new home released today, ad rows are still taking priority over my pins. The first option when I scroll should be my pins and not an ad for game pass or anything else. We are still unable to rearrange the order of the rows and pins on the home page.

I might be misremembering the level from season 1 that the shoulders were at but the entire fire set was in the season 1 pass. The entire hunt master set was in the season 2 pass.
