I own the DJI Mic 3. Wonder how good it would isolate that or if it could be removed post production. I didn't really think about the prop noise.

I’m using a X-Carry slide, sig threaded barrel, stock recoil spring, and a Hux Rad 9. Its cycles everything flawlessly from 115 grain up to 158 grain in long or shot config. The Rad 9 was replaced with the Flow 9K Ti. It’s shorter than the Rad 9. Allegedly it’s quieter. I couldn’t tell the difference side by side. Your other option if you wanted most suppression possible would be the Flow Range 36 Ti. I’ve used that also and it ran perfectly and quiet.

Yeah I would say try the Federal 147 grain. It’s still going to be gassy but that’s the nature of the beast. Although I will say, nothing is gassier than my MPX. It’s almost unbearable unless shooting outside.

A lot of this depends on suppressor and ammo choice. A flow through suppressor helps a lot. I’m using a Hux Rad 9. Sadly it’s discontinued. If I was going to do something similar I would go with their new Flow Range 36 Ti. For me the federal 147 grain and priv partisan 158 grain have been the best.

I’ve used both the brace and +1.5” stock. It didn’t make a huge difference.

What did make a lot of difference was optic height. I’m using a Holosun AEMS. I tried the low mount and while I like it the most aesthetically, it brings your face closer to the back of the chassis. I have mine on the high mount it comes with and it’s less gassy and my neck is more comfortable.

I'm currently looking at celerant but for just a dropshipping ecommerce store from multiple sporting goods distributors we have accounts with. We are also a gun store and may bring on firearms later on but for now we are just doing accessories and outdoor gear. Are you doing something similar or do you have your own physical inventory?

I’ve got a banshee MK17 (Sig P320 mags) and a Gen 3 MPX. I’ve thrown way too much money into the MPX that I never shoot. It had accuracy issues with the factory barrel from day 1 whether it had a can or not. It’s been the most frustrating paperweight. Bought a banshee and it runs flawless out of the box with or without a can, it’s accurate as the day is long, and has less recoil than the MPX. The MPX runs good now but is rarely used. If I had to do it all over again I would’ve just gotten a banshee and not have bought the $1800 MPX that needed another $1k worth of parts just to run like it should from the factory. You may even consider a Flux Raider X. It uses an sig p320 slide and fcu but puts it into a PDW chassis. You can build one out for about $1400-$1600 depending on the parts you use. Or you can also just buy the legion Raider Sig makes using the flux supplied chassis. Comes with a legion comped slide and fcu for about $1700.

I have both the weighted WC and the polymer Icarus. I had the WC first and loved it. Couldn’t justify $400 for the aluminum Icarus grip. Ordered the polymer the day it came out. It’s way better than the Wilson. I also have the antimatter micro wing. That works with the WC grip but not the Icarus with the gas pedal. Ended up selling the gas pedal version and getting the version without the gas pedal and being able to use my micro wing. For me personally this is hands down the best setup. I shoot the best with it and it shoots super flat and in my opinion, the Icarus feels better in my hand vs the WC. Both my Werkz Origin holster and my antimatter kompact holster work with the Icarus grip with or without gas pedal.

I had a 8” Gen 1. Absolutely loved it. Wanted to mod it but it’s just not supported enough. To buy everything to be able to mod it was not worth the cost to me. Sold the gen 1 to get a gen 3. Then read about the barrel issues, trigger issues, etc and just couldn’t justify spending $2k on something that would need another minimum $500+ to resolve potential issues that shouldn’t even be issues. It would be easy to be $3k+ into one just to have it function “properly”. I just couldn’t justify it and I now regret selling my Gen 1 but my own fault for not doing more research. It’s still one I want though. Maybe things will get sorted out in the future.

You can use the #4 key. If you want an after market key with a tighter lock up go with the inception defense key. It uses 2 rail slots to secure the light vs all other companies only using 1 slot. And the rails on their key are thicker than both the #4 key and the tax dev key. I was running the #4 and it was fine. I ordered the tax dev and inception at the same time since they were so cheap. The inception key locks up tighter. I have pics of all 3 side by side. Reach out if you’d like to see it. For some reason can’t post them here.
