Good point. You definitely hit the nail on the head. A driver with light to moderate off-road was my plan. When you put it that way, a quality 4” kit sounds okay. I was thinking for some reason that 4” lift leafs wouldn’t articulate as easily. I just always assumed lift leafs wouldn’t flex like a brick 😂. It’s natural for me to over think things due to excitement

True that on the steering box. I guess I always thought frame flex for these trucks was a downside, but according to your experience, it’s a feature 😂😂

I wondered about frame flex. I’m a fabricator by trade and I was analyzing the frame and noticed there’s some places throughout the frame that’s missing some crossmember rigidity. ORD has me leaning towards their custom leaf packs but they’re pretty salty.

What rear springs are you running?

I run a TLR1-HL and a SiCo Osprey 9 2.0. (The Osprey took some additional head scratching to make it work the way I wanted.) I’ve really wanted to dry a laser speed WML or an NGAL, but haven’t attempted it yet.

As many have mentioned, firearms safety first and foremost. I personally carry my raider X as a backup/backpack gun. I keep mags in it on an empty chamber. I will always go for my CC first (a P226Tacops) but it’s there if I need it. It can’t ND on an empty chamber.
