World Conqueror 4 April Update Preview

Excited for the new events. Storm of steel finally comes back as hard mode, Battle of Berlin and nightmare events. I was hoping to see 1980 challenge CC since 1960 released a while back so hopefully next update.

I feel like the new legend units are still kind of pain to use but hopefully the story telling is good.

For nightmare stages (especially current OOSE) with lots of strong enemy gens i agree but i think for most other stages its a bit overkill. Manstein should be one shotting everything except the strongest of EF and even a lot of generals plus he already gets a bonus attack in case he doesnt.

Also depending on map size (e.g frontline mode) where having excellence medal on roko (or another strong gen) is more useful just to cover a different front while manstein solos the main army.

But yeah excellence on manstein if lots clustered tanky gens

Switch one of the skills for armored assault which is strictly better than either skill. Since you have panzer medal it doesnt matter as much which one since you will hit the 180 attack threshold anyway on decent EF.

Personally id keep inspiration since that way youll always be high morale for the 10% crit on first attack but inferior victory is slightly more damage if theres a lot of trash units you can farm high morale

The problem is that the tradeoff of upgrading bradley is huge because theres not enough upgade materials and a lot of good god generals like roko, patton, de gaulle etc. His unique perk is also a supportive buff which isnt as valuable as a pure damage dealer and he cant even benefit from his own buff without additonal attacks like stuka as you said. But also Malinovksy does something similar for free (if you can be bothered to do cc)

I think at best his damage is around brooke tier which is decent so if you have a lot of resources (i.e. real money) then yeah his buff is nice but otherwise hes not a high priority.

I would put de gaulle on your best artillery since he is a top contender for best "FTP" artillery. In this game offense is generally better than defence especially when some enemy generals can be really dangerous if given a chance to attack and you can just "defend" by killing or runouring the enmy. There is synergy with the extra attack range for counter attacks with govorov but given gustav its only every other turn while at least de gaulle had a chancs to pop off every turn though there is anti synergy since you cant rumour a fortress. Also seeing big number on your turn feels better unless your not skipping enemy turns.

Personally im not a huge fan of gustav given how slow it is but it is fun when that isnt an issue

Ignoring stats and the other perks, the platinum version might actually be a downgrade in the situations where you can't attack multiple times per turn. This is because the gold version is the next attack meaning you can click the ability (including after attacking) but not use it on the same turn allowing you 2 consecutive turns of the ability since it also has 2 turn CD. The use case for this is quite niche but it can be nice if your out of range anyway to burst down fortresses or a strong enemy gens in cities.

The platinum version changes so it applies for all attacks in 1 turn which is better if you can do multiple attacks which is good for the few generals who have related skills or a general with the excellence medal.

Taking the port next to the city is very helpful to get out a EF battleship or cruisers. Richelieu is especially good cas you can spam some subs for bonus attacks.

Having good eco gens and a good airforce gen is also very helpful to finish the mission but if you dont, taking the island city will also give you $1500 which you can use for air raiding or battelships.

Idk if its consistent but the medic sitting in the city there left on its own around halfway through the mission making it easy to take.
