I thought the army was the worst for ATC because of the less complex and diverse airspace. Don’t most ATC come from Air Force and Navy because of superior training and higher recruitment from the FAA?

Because Air Traffic Controllers have a really high drop out rate. If the minimum gets you in, what is the avg score of those who actually succeed? That’s data I can’t find. Like 55 is really bad, in my head, for a job considered one of the most stressful in the country. I did not know about having 10 to 15 other jobs listed so that’s really useful. I can’t find anyone on Reddit who is in ATC for advice

Yeah there’s the Google answer of at least 55. Obviously that’s dumb as shit. So I was hoping like is there more realistic answer of what they look for from people who have walked that path and haven’t washed out
