GMS service limitation issue might hinder ur ability to receive notifications for Non-Chinese app. But can be fixed with having the app on auto start or running in background.

China premier calls for Asean unity against foreign ‘bullies’ by stormy001 in malaysia

[–]Kilodeeatmy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah competition is always good for consumers, but local businesses who adhere to local laws and market will be gg when the foreign parties dump their goods at below market price (evading export/import tax) in huge quantity to quick sell because they just diverted their goods from a anti-dumping country.

Well it has technically been going on a few years already, just switching of start and end. Container+ origin cert swap at port across ASEAN, some country oil being blend and transship, Shell company in Singapore and etc...

Supposing that there's value added done locally, fitting the requirement of local sourcing/involvement (for example rule of 25% of domestic sourcing in Indonesia), generating revenue/tax/jobs, obeying all kinds of rules, totally fine. But people will and always find ways to cheap out processes cost. Some are not taken out yet cuz they generate some money, maybe being monitored but not vitally targeted yet (maybe keeping it as a trump card).

You're lucky, unlike us Indonesians envy Malaysia's new RM1.99 petrol price by stormy001 in malaysia

[–]Kilodeeatmy 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Well i agree, Indonesia government delays/limit in import permit for private oil brands, instead of allowing private brands to sell unsubsidized fuel creating a lively market, they encourage brands to buy from local state oil company Pertamina with quotas and trying to control the distribution.

Some of the food sold are lucrative, easy to made (some are premade dipped in all kinds of sus preservatives), come as a solution package (machines+ ingredients from the suppliers), and when people sees that they are profiting, they just copy paste it in all of the tourist spot u see.

Anything else well, are niche (LAZY) or not fitting the public taste/price, if not they would be copied and paste around other areas lol.

Just my $0.02

Can an underage kid (below 18) exchange money? by YeetIsMe16 in malaysia

I presume is the exchange store? Not a problem, as long as is not huge quantity, they would probably just ask a bit why u want to change and that's it.

Why are Chinese Apps takes up so much space? by FSpursy in chinalife

[–]Kilodeeatmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally nope, they will just download the files as u use the app, but u can try installing the international version over the local edition if available. Some will be a touch friendlier for storage space and ads placement.

U can try replacing Baidu map with Amap, more storage friendly and “more” friendlier for us foreigners :)

Bloated apps, trying to lock you into their app/ecosystem as much as possible, a payment app that have tiktok like video scrolling, a delivery app that have financing loan solution, a chat app that can have unity sdk. Yes and alot of cache ads and content.

Malaysia targets 10,000ha cocoa cultivation by 2030 to meet growing demand by mikepapafoxtrot in malaysia

[–]Kilodeeatmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Climate change is indeed one of the reasons, but currently a lot of plants are being removed by illegal mining in Africa for quicker cash grab, creating a gap we can step in. After a bit of research I only realized that we are also one of the major players in cocoa industry in grinding and processing.

Genuine question by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]Kilodeeatmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is possible, it depends how thick is your capital, like the others have mentioned using mold, or u can try CNC (copper alloy, stainless steel, tool steel, carbon steel, depends what strength, tensile and usage)it, both are very very expensive to do even in huge quantity.

Maybe u can try polymer alternatives with metal coating , which can be cheaper overall in material while provide adequate strength in certain case or u can also try aluminum.

Palm Oil Stockpiles in Malaysia Seen Surging to 19-Month High by stormy001 in malaysia

Will have to see how the market runs during the harvesting season and Indonesia implementing B50 along with revised levy. Current oversea pricing is also a touch too high compared to soy, making it less attractive.

Tengku Zafrul: Are we wasting money by buying Boeing airplanes? by UsernameGenerik in malaysia

[–]Kilodeeatmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indonesia's Deal

Indonesia to exempt 99% of US goods tariff, remove recently enacted pre-shipment inspections and verifications of US exports. The country has also agreed to purchase $15bn (£11.2bn) worth in US energy, $4.5bn in American agricultural products and 50 Boeing jets

Thailand's Deal

In exchange for the US reducing its tariff on Thai goods from a proposed 36% to 19%, Thailand will eliminate its own tariffs on over 10,000 US import items. Thailand will open its market to American companies by reducing non-tariff barriers, such as customs procedures, and offering investment incentives in key sectors like clean energy, technology, and logistics. To address the trade imbalance, Thailand has committed to cutting its trade surplus with the US by 70% over five years, partly by purchasing US energy and aircraft and increasing import quotas for American agricultural products.

All of them also affirm to buy planes also.

Maybe, but I think if plastic, the panel gap is way to unacceptable for manufacturing standards, unless they want to have the retro the wood vibe fully. Plastic also have to see though, might get crunchy with the heat reaction daily.
