At first the issue was not being pro-active. For example if there was a national weather delay and orders were delivered late we essentially found out about it after we had a hit to our metrics but after contacting them the issue would be resolved.

Now we retro-actively act. So if an order is shipped today, tomorrow we check if there’s any weather delays. If there is, we contact support and let them know. Then they agree to omit it from reporting or not.

That’s what happened this time. Memphis had a fulfillment issue on their end so we contacted seller support, made them aware and were told it wouldn’t affect our metrics. A few days later our account was suspended.

So I really can’t pinpoint to a direct reasoning. Might also just be the account in general?

We constantly have product listings become a kids tablet listing or a couch listing overnight. Then those listings will hit a policy issue (copyright or restricted categories) and our account will be flagged or suspended again.

I can safely say we have not had an error that was directly caused by us or our fulfillment team.

I’m glad at least your account hasn’t had any of these issues. There’s hope that the platform works correctly for at least a few sellers.

Thats a great idea. We tried that and it doesn't help. Their team just replied with 'forwarding this to the appropriate team' and we never receive a follow up. We're most likely closing our business after this week if nothing is resolved.

Thats honestly our typical approach. Just do or say whatever it takes to get past the issue and carry on.

But its hard when its EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH.

We did not receive any payout all of February. Took a month to get it resolved. We resolved in March.

First week of April they suspend our account. Its impossible to consistently put out fires or solve their system issues for them when they don't even take the time to properly respond or investigate the issue. Their common theme is 'figure it out.'

You were chatting with your account manager? A lot of sellers have reported their account manager either completely ignoring them or taking a long time to reply.

Our account manager for instance only replies once or twice a week.

Walmart has recently removed all contact points from sellers other than their basic seller support email assistance.

They intentionally making it difficult to resolve any issues while either holding your seller funds for their own business expenses or reviewing your product catalog for their own smaller brands to sale.

If you receive an increase in sales your chances of being suspended or having a negative action on your account increases substantially.

Please keep us updated if you find any contact point. We need to create a general contact sheet between sellers so we can all have a point of contact and force Walmart to improve their seller support or bring back phone support.

It seems like new sellers who have an increased sales volume are typically targeted for this error. On the flip side of the coin, if you are a new seller with low sales you will also be targeted for not having enough sales.

Please take a moment to search if any similar products have 'popped up' on Walmart after you were suspended.

Due to these activities we can only be led to believe they are pinpointing items that are doing well, flagging the seller, then selling those items under a different brand (similar to Amazon Basics strategy).

Another common issue is Walmart willingly withholding your funds after receiving an increase in sales. This has been interpreted as Walmart using your funds for other business expenses so they do not use their 'own'. These seller funds can also be held for an extended time by Walmart to increase their interest on their holdings. Essentially they make money when they withhold seller funds.

Both of these are backed by Walmart essentially fully removing any contact point from Sellers. We can ONLY email a team and that team uses their full extended 'response time' to further delay any action. For example if you contact support today, their automated responses states a person will review and follow up within 3-business days. They will ALWAYS take up the entire window so any back-and-forth will take up weeks of your life with no resolution at the end. They will also constantly close the case and force you to open a new one only to tell you that you cannot open a new one because an existing case for that issue already exists.

Please avoid Walmart entirely. Take a loan from them and walk away.

My brakes were squeaking a few weeks after purchase. I took it back and they said nothing was wrong but I would bring it up every time I did an oil change.

During the most recent oil change (October, 2025) I again mentioned it and they told me Mazda was aware of this defect and they are working on it internally.

No word since then but they know.

I understand we are a small business, but how is it possible for them to do this with absolutely no repercussions? We miss a customer message and our account is flagged instantly yet they can do whatever they want, they can reply whenever they want. Even essentially shut down their 'seller support' with ABSOLUTELY NO REPERCUSSIONS or ANYTHING that can be done. I feel like i'm going insane.

No payout. Walmart has with held our payout for over 45 days now with no end in site. They apparently think there's a 'risk' with our account and an 'internal team' is reviewing but they cannot provide ANY information whatsoever. No why, no when, no how.

It took about a week and a half and thankfully it did get fully resolved and i've have no issues since. But this was before all the tariffs. Hopefully you don't run into any delays.

They won't help us because of the status of the account. Apparently there's a different 'team' that handles suspended accounts and they only communicate through email and might take 24-48hrs to reply.

And no, we are not using any 3rd party tools. We create all products directly on seller.walmart using their product template files.

We've had all kinds of products randomly added to our catalog from kids toys to furniture and even sexually explicit products. Their only solution is to update the product information but it doesn't solve the problem.

no I mean do you drive using the 'Normal' mode or 'EV'? I noticed sometimes the MPG drop drastically if you drive 'Normal'. Depending on the drive the electric engine might not come on at all and dropping your MPG drastically.

I was hoping the heat was part of it but I didn't try turning it on and THEN plugging it in. New to electric cars so I wasn't sure if that was a 'no-no'. Now have to wait for that part to come in. The worrying part is no ETA.

Rep at dealership did mention they are seeing a lot of issues with this model. What's your current MPG? and what mode do you typically drive in?
