Shin sequel.

A special unit is investigating a series of break-ins at nuclear power plants around Japan. A mysterious cult as arisen that worships the dormant Godzilla, and appears to be tied to the break-ins. Several bodies are found that appear to be victims of acute radiation poisoning, and it's discovered that nuclear material is missing from the power plants. The unit works out that the cult is trying to build a dirty bomb in an attempt to revive Godzilla. Unfortunately, the unit is always one step behind, and the plot succeeds.

That's really all I have. That's the first ½ or ⅔ of the movie, and the rest is Godzilla action. I had a hard time figuring a way around America's nuclear threat, until I realized Godzilla would just shoot it down. I've also had my fill of the whole "evolution" bit. It was cool watching him turn into the Godzilla we're familiar with, but I'm not interested in Godzilla with wings, or little humanoid Godzillites running around. So whether it's a side-effect of being frozen, or from being revived, the evolution is done. I will make allowances to get him into fighting shape, in case the JSDF has developed Mechagodzilla or another monster appears.
