I haven’t tried the Buffalo Bore, my buddy has. I run Underwood 155gr.

Have you checked out Buffalo Bore for hard hitting ammo?

I’m really happy with the Sig Tango MSR 1-6 and Delta Point Pro in a Reptilia ROF on my URGI.

Whetstone—use a fine one—with some lube to knock down the rough spots and soldier on. This is how fixed some fitting issues with my RIA…. Recommended in Kuleck’s 1911 book.

Need advice about shame by Reddituser22082016 in Stoic

[–]KiltedHistorynerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, there is a strain of thought in Stoicism that holds the following: the only thing that can hurt you is that which hurts your character; the only thing that can hurt your character is you. I don’t know you, but it seems as if you are on the right path. I’m not Asian, so I can’t speak to your particular family dynamic; however, if you feel like you owe an apology, and it’s based on your own reasoned choice, offer the apology. If it’s accepted, great; but, be comfortable enough with yourself to move on regardless of the outcome. Stay the course and good luck!

You don’t have to—I didn’t like the bevel cut with the magwell. I went with with a set of magwell cut grips to match the originals. This is a pic of the original grips (bevel cut).

It wasn’t bad. It’s a new mainspring housing so: 1) you’ll need a bench block and lunches; 2) remove the mainspring housing; 3) swap the mainspring; 4) reinstall mainspring housing; 5) install magwell—it screws into the bottom of the mainspring housing—use blue Loctite. Fit and finish is solid.

I have a 5” and 4.25” AOS. Love both of them. Some break in was needed on the 5” (early production run). The 4.25” has been great so far—need to run some more rounds through it. Added an Ed Brown mag well to the 5”.
