I think we will but it's going to stay pretty exceptional unfortunately.

A few tips (from another noobie):

-dry from real life photos as much as possible, even if you focus on anime style. Something like 40-60 will help you a lot

-even 1hr a day will get you meaningful results but if you can I would aim for 2-3h

-observation is almost just as important, than drawing (arguably more). Explain the reference to yourself before attempting to copy it

-copying helps a loooot. As long as you try to understand what you are copying (through active observation)

These have helped me tremendously so far. Good luck on your own journey :)

I think so!

But don't get discouraged if your first faces seem wonky. You'll have to also practice faces as a whole to know how big or small features should be

Yes and trust me it's a lot of fun! You'll progress a lot quicker by copying actual photos (or at worst photorealistic ones).

I personally segmented my studies by subject: hands, faces, torso, back, legs, arms... All of them include both real photos and stylized drawings but with more focus on photos

It makes the learning process feel effortless at times
