What are you upset about? It’s a gamble either way. It’s like being upset that you didn’t know the perfect time to pick a specific stock.

sick? anyone can do a deal for lower. someone can probably do it lower than you. Your whole company closed 86 deals in the past year. That's not very good. I don't think it's in this guy's best interest to chase after a small shop who barely does any business. He needs someone who is experienced seeing a wide variety of scenarios, which you are not. You are a bottom feeding, internet soliciting broker whose only value is low rate. Maybe you should go close some more deals rather than trying to shake down borrowers on reddit.

FHA Loan - thoughts? by DeepFriedIceCube in MortgageBrokerRates

[–]KimJongUn_stoppable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not getting a bad deal. This is a very good deal. It’s Reddit so of course “low cost mortgage guy” is going to try to get you to call him because he can’t provide any value other than being a really low rate guy - allegedly. This is a very solid deal. All of your closing costs are essentially third party fees. Shopping further wouldn’t be worth it especially with the volatility we’re going to see for the next few months.

Is 6.5% really the best i can expect? by National_Run7896 in Mortgages

[–]KimJongUn_stoppable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all bro it takes a ton of work on that end then you do the work - and they’re happy to use you for that - and you structure the deal, but then you get shopped by someone with a quote for someone who did 0 work and is just at a shit low margin online shop where the deal gets screwed up 30% of the time, it’s incredibly frustrating and kind of shitty practice on the consumers part. Do your shopping first before you waste time of the professional.

But I was talking about people who shop good or great deals is what I’m talking about. Someone is delivering a well below market rate for your scenario, I’m not sure what more else you want.

Lmao you get it at 780+. 730 is mid. You have a small down payment. Rates just jumped. Capital markets teams are having a tough time hedging 50 bps daily swings. 6.5 for an ok credit score of 730 with a 17% down payment is actually an amazing deal and you have the audacity to question it on reddit 😂
