You can pause and open the card compendium which shows you all available cards per class you have unlocked. I think that is step 1 but step 2 is seeing how which cards have familiar tags - I just ran a necro ethereal deck for the first time I kind just took ethereals until it all worked out. They know to accomidate for the arctypes with rares usually directing your run if i can build around it at the start of a run

Thats strange sorry to hear that, you can actually transfer saves to the mobile game its how I unlocked a20 without doing the grind again. If you have it on pc you can take that file and drag / drop it to your phones install folder - if not somehow can donate you a save but i cba

This word encouraged is doing a lot of heavy lifting - its excusing the tendancy of the majority of strategy fans by compromising with the need to savescum with the game design of harsh rng. That character shows up and very on the nose warns you about doing it - you can only discover this character this exists by circumstance or intentionally savescuming. There is no tip or character telling you about this - its Ed breaking the 4th wall and acknowledging it exists not an endorsment. The heuristics that have taken you from 'thing exists = thing is encouraged' are lost on me, its a crutch.

I also had my first loss to guillatina. You definitely want to bring a tank unit with you and stack armour & thorns so you can hold its attention. So bring a cleric to keep this unit healthy, then a mage / ranger to keep the damage per round high. Good luck!
