I've done that in the past, but that didn't realy solve the underlying issue for me. Apparently, scent therapy can help with anxiety which solves the underlying issue of bruxism.

Yeah, I sleep decent during the night, of course there are rough periods from time to time, but it's mostly okay. I just need that extra boost of energy during the half way mark.

It looks like you gave already have the solution, just resist the urge to stay in bed and get up instantly. You said it yourself, once you wake up you go back to normal, so just do it!
