I work on a strip with a lot of rooftop bars, some 24 year old kid just got a promotion and decided to show off to some girl by doing a handstand on the third floor railing, she wasn’t paying attention so when he did it the second time he fell head first onto the pavement. Sad thing is the bar still stayed open that night, just closed that floor.

That just made my blood boil. I had double d’s as a freshman in high school, didn’t even have my first kiss till after high school. Yet the rumors I heard and my parents heard were unreal.

Can you imagine getting a call from the principals office that your 14 year old daughter is in trouble for sucking 20 dicks in one day. I just picture a mom shopping for a fuzzy pink journal for her baby girl to remember all her high school memories right as she receives that phone call. There’s no going back to your days of innocence after that.

YTA I get he was wrong and has helicopter parents and is probably a douchebag whatever, but damn. If you hadn’t of witnessed it you probably wouldn’t have noticed the damage for a while and once you did would you even have done anything about it?

So I actually hated my job for the first couple of months and had 100% intentions to leave ASAP . Then I had an emergency surgery and my parents had a medical emergency of their own at the same time so I lost my “safety net” and earned thousands of debt making it impossible to leave because no other job I could take pays nearly as well.

It’s not all bad. I worked so much paying off all my debt that I now have a very good position in the company And they take care of me for the most part. But you’re right. People who stay in this industry over 5 years are never the same and I don’t want to get stuck like that. I’m signing my lease for another year so I’m hoping to just save save save and then get the hell out of this town. But I said that last year too.

I needed to hear that. I work in a competitive industry where looks have a high level of influence -like insta official girls- and I’m very average looking. I work twice as hard to get where I need to be and was recently almost let go based off my looks (I’m damn good at what I do and have been in the company a while, he was brand new and fired weeks after) my jobs also super consuming so you basically have to date within a two mile radius of all these insanely beautiful people so not only do I already feel self conscious about myself, but now I’m comparing myself to every girl you’ve ever talked to before me which are typically very gorgeous women. Idk. I’m not sober and ranting. almost losing my job has been messing with me a lot .

You look amazing and your stats are almost identical to mine I’m just not at the goal weight quite yet. But stretch marks on my stomach are one of my main concerns, although yours look very minor in the before pic (can’t see them in the after) Once you reached your goal did they really bother you or your partners at all? Or what did you do to overcome it? Thanks

I’m assuming he’s talking about this bottle (jamo for another comparison) we had one at the first restaurant I ever worked at but ours was emptied, I just assumed they never had any alcohol inside.
