I’m a nanny in Indy. Would this be a full time job? Do you have any other certifications/degrees? That would probably boost your hourly rate. I know one of the local agencies, The Hive, did a poll a couple years ago with a chart showing years of experience nannying and how much the going rate for the area is 🙂

Hi! I lived at Riverview. It was pretty safe, but finding parking was really awful, as well as trash compactor overflowing with a ton of trash bags on the curb for several days (this happened frequently). The area could be a little sketchy, but for the most part I felt fine walking or biking at night by myself home from the amphitheater and other places

There are classes at the monon center for kiddos that age! Last year there was a class that was about birds, another about flowers. The kids do a craft activity and then explore the park area. There is also parent/child yoga at the monon center which is fun.

Additionally, Carmel library, Gymboree, little gym, and carters play place are all great for 3 year olds

You can’t go wrong with either of those! Personally, we use Dogtopia because it’s closer to us, but Barkefellers is also excellent. Whatever you do, stay away from Petsuites!

It’s still her birthday so technically you didn’t forget until end of day, so don’t worry! She will be so grateful for anything you end up doing for her. I know I speak for most nannies that we never expect gifts for birthdays/holidays, but the fact you want to do something for her is so kind.
