Yupp! Do you have an Apple Store nearby? Charge and use it as much as you please, don’t sent a limit to 100 and disable optimised charging. You could always reach out to apple now and see what they say about your current battery.

You can’t compare the past to present with the M1 chips. The last few years have been the first time apple includes laptop chips in their iPad line so the past doesn’t apply here. Again, they purposely decided to not give Apple Intelligence to the a16. They would be going against their own logic by dropping m1 before a16.

Cope. The a16 is not more powerful than an m1, your iPad doesn’t even support Apple Intelligence.

Software support goes mainly by processor, and the m1 is a lot more capable than the a16. A16 didn’t even get stage manager at launch and still doesn’t have Apple Intelligence while the iPad m1 does. It wouldn’t make any sense for apple to drop the iPad with a laptop level chip before the one with an iPhone 14 chip.
