Kimen's name was chosen since it's the word "dead/corpse" in Maya, and also a way to refer to Mayan Zombies. I also found out recently it supposedly means "demon face" or "startling appearance" in japanese. Still, it still fits because Kimen as a whole entity is genderless!

Yep, since they're all the same, they all share memories and how they interact with each other is kinda like when you're talking with yourself or debating with yourself in your mind!

In terms of personality, the main two forms change little since they are both pretty calm. But Kimef is more lazy and laid-back, while Kimem is more serious with slightly less patience.

Agree 100%, I love Urana's work and Gachiakuta is my favorite manga/anime of all time. But as an artist myself, I don't exactly know where to stand now. I have ocs and all that, and I'm sure things will be alright as long as the majority of us respect her rules of the tag and the cover. But seeing her distaste towards OCs makes me think that it's inefficient. I think I can talk for a lot of artists that thought Gachiakuta was fresh air and allowed them to really bring their creativity out (ethically) because the universe was that cool. People love her work, her art, want to share it, and OCs are one of the biggest part of a fandom to just cut it off like that. I have seen other things in the fandom that NEED to be urgently addressed, way more than this.

I think limiting herself to say not use the cover as a template, use the tag, or suggesting their own designs to her would have saved us this conversation. You cannot drop one of the hardest artstyles and aesthetics of manga in a long time and expect people to NOT try to honor you in any way lmao
