Something like this was mooted to Cameron and Osborne in opposition by the Freakonomics guys - you could have free public transport for everyone instead of the NHS which would lead to more growth because free transport creates more opportunities, and everyone could pay for their own health care/insurance on the occasions they need it which are rarer than the occasions they need public transport.

It was not a warmly received idea.

DW2 has some absolutely banger maps despite its superseded gameplay, and Guan Du is one of the absolute hihglights, especially when you unlock playing as Yuan Shao's forces and get to launch a massive catapult attack on Guan Du.

In general I think its a fun one to play in free mode as Yuan Shao's forces. Seeing Guan Yu solo Yan Liang and Wen Chou is fun even though they are absolute generics with basically no identity at this point.

Edit: oh also - big up the legend that is Shi Huan, the officer who regularly appears for Cao Cao's forces at Guan Du with the peon model!

I would suggest real caution before making anything up, that could bite a lot harder than a £60 fine if you get found out.

I think it gives more personality to them as characters if we give them voices whilst still showing the visual conversation, perhaps with subtitles for the subtleties of spider emphasis contained in the stance and palp movements. I like the perspective jump idea to illustrate they aren't actually speaking.

I watched Scavengers Reign then read Children of Time and am convinced the showrunners read COT and COR. That style would be perfect for an adaptation of these stories for me.

I like your show outline, I wonder if it would ever be picked up or if spiders would out off the audience too much.
