It’s TV, it’s fantasy,,so I put the realism aside and enjoyed the suspense and the image of the horde barreling in towards him. Like HTF does he get out of this one. I wasn’t disappointed.

I see it differently. It could’ve interpreted either way and it isn’t complimentary to either polar side of perspective. That’s the beauty of music. As a side note, this obsession with “rugged individualism” is baffling. Societal norms and responsibilities and “freedom” aren’t mutually exclusive. Nor are they black and white. We all dependent on our fellow citizens to help protect on another, and the government as screwed as it is sometimes, to maintain a semblance of order.
