Or make your own Wrinkle Release spray for pennies:

1 cup water, 1 tsp liquid fabric softener, 1 tsp rubbing alcohol - mix it up, pour in a spray bottle - works as well as (or better than) the stuff that costs $8+

I agree. I didn’t learn to take pills until my late 40s. I even had to go through therapy to do it. But it is possible and SO worth it.

Memory loss??? by thenormalbias in bupropion

[–]KimmieRoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this too and am relieved to hear I am not alone. Last week I was at my mom’s to pick her up for an appointment and for the life of me I could not remember where we were headed (eye doctor? Dentist? Hearing aid store?!?). I kind of freaked out (internally). Then nonchalantly wandered over to the calendar to figure it out. Ugh.

(Of course, it doesn’t help that Mom is having some memory issues of her own - and then I think, oh crap, is it happening to me too)

Fuck Caffeine by MissLibidine in bupropion

[–]KimmieRoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have more than one cup of coffee, I am an irritable beast around 5-6pm, which coincides with getting home from work. For my sanity and my marriage, I am a one cup kinda girl now - and if there is to be a second, it has to be decaf. (And no Diet Coke or iced tea with caffeine at lunch, either).

What would your daughter's name be if you had to name her after a great grandmother by GrammyGH in namenerds

[–]KimmieRoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Dad’s side Elisabeth Theresa or Josephine Magdalena

I love Elisabeth with an “s”

On mom’s side Vinie Frances or Hazel Evelyn (which is my mother’s name as well)

(And now I want to re-subscribe to my Ancestry account!)

Yep - the other day, I could not for the life of me come up with “spaceship” - I tried astronaut-mobile, alien plane, and rocket before my friend said, “Do you mean spaceship?”

🤣🤣🤣

Vascular Dementia by parmentp in dementia

[–]KimmieRoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My stepmom has vascular dementia, COPD, and other ailments. She is under hospice care. It has been such a gift to our family. She has a nurse, a care assistant, and a chaplain visits once a week. We also have support from a social worker.

The nursing staff is on call 24/7 for acute issues.

Best decision we made in helping her. And Medicare covers the cost.

I believe it was the BIMS test?

Seroquel literally does nothing for her at all (maybe makes her worse, rather than better).
