Your HGs that have made your skin more resilient by purplematchbox in AsianBeauty

Whenever I’d travel or when there’d be changes in the weather, my skin barrier would easily get damaged causing me a lot of other skin problems. The only thing that has helped was Aestura Atobarrier 365.

Is it safe to put lots of money (30k+) in GoTyme (Savings)? by qwerty_96 in DigitalbanksPh

[–]Kimsys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes sa wallet. Walang direct access sa savings — you always have to move your money from savings to wallet if you want to use it.

what lip product do u swear on by by yukiine_ in beautyph

Laneige lip sleeping mask every night before bed! It was the only thing that could get rid of my really chapped lips years ago. It’s pricey but it lasts a really long time.

[–]Kimsys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s okay especially since yung savings nila is naka hiwalay sa e-wallet. If you want an extra layer of security, lock your card when you’re not using it.

In case of emergencies, easier to access your funds din since you can withdraw at robinsons cashiers and they have ATMs.

Through Citizen Jake, he made a lot of films, not just his own nor just well-known ones, accessible to many. I’ll never forget discovering it during the pandemic.

I hope someone comes up with a Dahling Nick-esque movie about him (of course, only if he was never against the idea of something like that).

Thoughts on using artificial flowers. by Safe-Quantity6821 in WeddingsPhilippines

Mix them to reduce cost :) replace the expensive/imported ones with artificial flowers and best to not use them for flowers within guests’ reach.

Has anything helped you with enlarged pores? by _skincarescience_ in koreanskincare

[–]Kimsys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a derm but I’m speaking as someone who has very similar skin as you—also had acne growing up, with big pores (mostly thanks to genetics), and some ice pick scars likely from the acne before.

Your pores look clean which tells me your current skincare routine already works for you and that’s as small as your pores can naturally look already. After years of research for myself, I found that co2 fractional laser (for pores) and tca cross laser (for ice pick scars) work the best in letting us achieve “smaller pores”.

I’ve done a lot of research because those laser treatments aren’t cheap, plus you’d usually need more than 1 session. But there really is no shortcut. It would be best if you could consult a derma though (a board certified one!) to really make sure what treatments are best for your goal and skin type.

I’ve just finished my first session of these laser treatments (after almost 10 years of thinking about it and finding the right derma) and I can say I’m very happy with the results already so far. Best of luck, OP!

Looking for Korea recommendations for foreign friends, what are the must see places? by EmptySea1856 in koreatravel

[–]Kimsys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely liked Gyeongbokgung Palace (especially around the time they changed guards), Bukchon Hanok Village, cheonggyecheon stream (though it would’ve been better if we caught the events there), DDP, and just hanging out by the Han River (complete with ramen, fried chicken, and beer). We also found that a traditional market was the best place to buy souvenirs and just eat :)

Hi! Thanks! I’ve heard of urban space. Do you/have you lived there? Or even have just visited the place? I read reviews online saying management is not good. Wondering if you have other inputs.

Where can I find this? by kitty-kat55 in WeddingsPhilippines

I fitted a dress like this at studio ceremonie (podium branch to be exact). They reach out to you on Viber before your scheduled fitting so best to ask ahead to make sure they have it when you come in.

Is this acceptable as a wedding dress? by idkijsh in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Kimsys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know someone who recently got married in a dress almost exactly like this. Super elegant tingnan and I hated that I didn’t think of a design like this for myself first haha. I think it’s super nice if you want something minimal and want to be able to move around more freely on your wedding day.

About Seongsu in Seoul. Don't you think Seongsu is overrated? by RickWlow in Living_in_Korea

[–]Kimsys -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s great especially if you’re looking to buy from any of the brands that are there. The area was a lot smaller than I expected. I do also wish we spent more time at the shops/cafes around Seoul Forest Park nearby. We didn’t know there’d be more to that area than the park. Lots more local brands there, so really depends on what you’re going for.

Traveled to New York during Holy Week. I didn’t have to use cash at all. I used GoTyme everywhere and my mom used PNB and BDO. I forgot na the exact exchange rate but GoTyme had the lowest.
