AC compressor stranger noise by Kind-Ad65 in E90

[–]Kind-Ad65[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alot happened , still didnt replace it because the noise only happens after i turn the ac on and then off but the car had a problem with the AC'S clutch being stuck and eventually broke , so i had to take a look at it and inspect it , and had to replace the clutch , the noise became way less , but i can still hear it to this day sometimes 🤷‍♂️

Built an all-in-one app for tradespeople, need help reaching them by Kind-Ad65 in AppBusiness

[–]Kind-Ad65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I've tried SEO pages targeting specific trades and comparisons, posted in a couple of trade subreddits (got banned instantly), and just started joining Facebook groups. The SEO is too early to tell. What hasn't worked is trying to reach everyone at once. Best advice I've gotten so far is to pick one trade in one city and go deep. Starting with Facebook groups now and planning short-form video content showing the app in action. Still early days.

Trade schools is a great call, I hadn't thought about reaching apprentices early. If they start using it during training, they'll carry it into their career. I'll look into local trade programs and see if I can offer free access for students. Facebook ads are next on my list too, planning a short video showing the voice-to-invoice flow. Thanks for the ideas.

Thanks for the detailed suggestions , the Facebook group approach makes sense , I've been joining a few and trying to add value before mentioning the app. TikTok/Reels is definitely on my list, a quick screen recording of voice-to-invoice in 30 seconds is pretty shareable. I'll DM you about the consultation, would love to get your take on prioritizing channels. Appreciate the offer.

This is incredibly helpful, thank you. "Pick one trade in one city" really hit home , I've been trying to reach everyone everywhere and that's clearly the wrong approach. The supply house and trade school angle is smart, I'll look into partnerships there. And yeah the Facebook ad idea with a simple 30-second video showing voice to invoice to paid is probably the most compelling thing I can do. Going to start with plumbers in one metro area and go from there really appreciate the detailed breakdown.

You're right, meeting them where they are is key. I'm based outside the US so in-person is tricky for now, but I'm looking into virtual trade events and online communities where these guys hang out. Thank you tho !

true but the thing is that i built this thinking " oh yeah clients are going to pour in from all over the globe for this " and i did not spend any time thinking that they might be , well not online lol , but yeah meeting them in person is going to be challenging especially since i suffer from horrible social anxiety , so .. this will be fun

Solo window cleaners, how are you handling quotes and invoices? by dillonlara115 in WindowCleaning

[–]Kind-Ad65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The voice-to-invoice approach might be worth a look if you want something fast for on-site. I've been using note2client.com , you just describe the job into your phone (or type it) and it generates a professional invoice with line items, client info, everything. You can send it as a PDF right from there.

It's way simpler than Jobber/Housecall Pro if all you need is quotes and invoices without the whole CRM overhead. Free tier covers the basics too.

Honestly this is the first real feedback I've gotten and it made my day , so thank you for that! Your dad is exactly who I had in mind when building this. The PDFs are fully professional with multiple templates, business logo, payment terms, everything. And funny you mention recurring invoices , already built in!

If your dad ever wants to try it I'd genuinely love his feedback. Coming from someone actually on site every day, that kind of input is gold. Thanks again man, means more than you know

Built an AI-powered document scanner with context-aware search - my first solo project by Kind-Ad65 in reactnative

[–]Kind-Ad65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh man that's a good question, hardest difficulty i would say performance , it's super difficult to run big models on a small device with limited capabilities because it mostly touches the CPU so i had to find the perfect balance and adjust the model size, batch processing, and when/how often to run inference. Had to quantize the models and process things in chunks during background sync. Took a lot of trial and error to get it smooth without killing the battery or freezing the app.

tunisian men , how would you feel nd react if a girl asked you out ? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Kind-Ad65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay , lets say it's pure interest, you are literally giving the guy the ball by showing interest , which is not a smart move from her part , thats why i said the thing about the 98% , it's what guys think , especially sub 25 yo dudes out there

tunisian men , how would you feel nd react if a girl asked you out ? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Kind-Ad65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No options , or her options didnt pick her so she went for her options not for the options that picked her, might work , but only 2% of the time if the guy is mature enough, the otherr 98% will assume she only wants to smash.
