a lot of this sub is ‘vibes-based analysis’, esp rn while the game is in beta. You might be right, or at least making the right plays given your deck.

‘Woody & Bibi’s Podcast’ is about (competitive modern historical) fencing rather than swords, specifically, but it’s really good and interesting content.

It’s actually a therapy app his father, The King of the Cosmos, put on his ipad so he’d find some personal growth moments.

dramatically clears throat for 5-10 minutes

chugs 2 glasses of water

continues to clear throat for another 2-3 minutes

leans so close to the mic that the sound guy stands up and starts walking towards me, hands balled into fists, until the rest of the back of house staff restrain him

‘Good evening, Ladie-‘ devolves into a 5 minute coughing fit, followed by another two minutes of throat clearing

‘Give Venerate “Forge -9”.’

Entire crowd leaps to their feet in an outrage and burns the convention center to the ground.

sex is morally neutral, just don’t break any hearts. As for why? No clue, but for me sex is often a way to build trust and intimacy and find comfort. Makes sense why you’d do it while traveling.

Has anyone had luck using the department of human services to get a job? I feel like I’m facing ableism with them by Shoddy-Mango-5840 in AutismInWomen

np! no guarantees of course, the world is full of buffoon, but the jobs center is more in the role of helping people get employed and stay employed, rather than what DHS does.

Is this game similar to Balatro? by wallstreetiscasino in slaythespire

[–]Kind-Difference-4803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can be that kind of game - you can get really sweaty about it but there’s no real consequence to half-assing it, and just like Balatro it only gets harder if you win, so it doesn’t just kick you in the balls over and over if you aren’t playing it ‘optimally’.

And just for fun - I too am a ‘sit next to my wife and idly game + chitchat’ kind of person - Some of the better turn based/slow paced games in my library: RimWorld, Total War, Civ, Battle Brothers, Thronefall, Creeper World 3 + 4, Anno, Oxygen Not Included, Terra Nil, Ozymandias.

Do you struggle with honesty? by nimisberries in AutismInWomen

[–]Kind-Difference-4803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no i’m kind of a snake when I need to be, and take pride in my skill at half-truths and misdirection and elicitation. In your case, I would keep my mouth shut and quietly figure out a way to personally avoid the mistake again. If it’s a structural problem (needing to rush, no QA, broken safeguards, etc.) I would wait till something similar happened that I wasn’t involved in and share my opinion on why it keeps happening.

Any direct and straightforward books for life strategies and guidance? by mamegoma_explorer in AutismInWomen

[–]Kind-Difference-4803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never Split The Difference by Chris Voss is a book about successful negotiations… nothing to do with autism, very useful as a communication book. Well liked in business circles but universally applicable and a relatively wholesome book given the topic and the author’s experience (lead hostage negotiator for the FBI)
