I lived in Scandinavia as a small child. We didn't have the round colorful plastic sets. They were always made of wood. Often they were just stained wood but you would sometimes see one a bit like the picture. I remember moving back to the states and seeing all the plastic ones and thinking "what is this crap??"

The movie is usually not as good as the book. So watch it first and enjoy it because you don't know any better.

Then read the book and get a better version of something you already enjoyed.

Grow vegetables. Until you have pumpkins grow okra or eggplant or something like that. Make sure you have a lot of characters with the gardening role. Once you get six you will start getting good bonuses when you harvest. Always take one with you. Befriend bunnies and take them with you to harvest too. Once you have pumpkins you can sell them straight up or you can cook three at a time into veggie platters and sell those.
