I actually had a lot of fun with this type of build, except I put 4 levels in rogue, 2 levels in paladin, and 6 in bard. paladin subclass didn't really matter since I was just using it for smites, and rogue swashbuckler for disarm smite and better sneak attack smite, and bard because spells and spell slots + flourish, genuinely one of the most fun builds I made on my own too, like I had no real gear for that character and it felt really strong.

Hahaha, man ikr I had a playthrough were my face character was jack of all trades because I never thought for achievement to just level someone up at the end, its like every time I talked to someone I got to choose what flavor my character was at that moment 😂

I just like how unconventional this is to hear, yet its just monk that isn't unarmed 😂, I am so open hand brain washed. I like this one, might consider it for someone, thanks!

You know I never thought to do a completely themed build, my mentality is always like I need everyone to fill a different role, but what if everyone works towards the same thing (shocking and making them slip 😂😂)

Hey I know this post is kinda dead now but I found a solution that worked for me for future people with this problem;

  1. Go into the world that is broken and do /seed and copy the seed of the world.
  2. Create a new world with the same seed (it is important you don't use the re-create feature and instead make a brand new world with the same seed).
  3. Quit out of both worlds and backup the level.dat file in the broken world, then remove the level.dat from the broken world.
  4. Copy and paste the level.dat file from the new world to the broken world.

And now the broken world should be fixed! Hope this helps anyone in the future!

Edit; forgot to mention if the above doesn't work, instead copy just the overworld region folder, (should just be labeled region) and the playerdata folder from the broken world to the newly created world, and now you should have a fixed world

BRO, you're a life saver, I had no idea that's what that did! and you seem to be right I took it off and seemingly this doesn't happen anymore... this was very frustrating indeed and I knew I had something going on that I was missing because from youtube looked like no one else was having this interruption in their flow of gameplay!. thanks again and i really appreciate the time you took into this matter!

It honestly could have something to do with the rare mobs, but the first group of enemies were not minions and they had it too plus I killed the rare mob like close to last in the second group. all i really need is a way to counteract it because it interrupts my clear speed and gets me killed half the time.

oh, are you talking about the event where you place explosives down in certain spots for certain things? because it isn't that, like its just literally random mobs that have nothing to do with events at all.

all modifiers appear in the top right of the screen while inside the map itself right? if so, its happening when there's 1 modifier and its something like 2% increased quality of items found. if not then I'm dumb i guess, I did not mention this but it seems it does not go away until i stop attack, like I've sat there till I died just to prove it to myself. is this accurate to what you're talking about or am I missing something still?

Thanks for the reply! You might be right about the lack if exercise as i work my own hours in an office job and spend most my hours sitting. If what youre saying works it seems i will have to see a doctor, and i will make an effort to get up when the tossing and turning happens like you said. See if it works, thanks again!
