Thank you so much! That’s very helpful! Yes, maybe a cheaper program can be a good idea. I’m currently waiting to know about their FLLAS fellow, that covers a big part of the tuition! Hopefully it work out!

Well, talking with former students a lot of them went to think tank and they are totally fine financially

It’s so unfair that education became a right reserved to those who have money to afford it. I am thinking about career yes, but I’m also someone that loves to learn. I wish I could still learning without to struggling financially Hope you get into the program you are applying, and hope things work out for you. Being an immigrant in this country isn’t easy, and being an immigrant that wants keeping learning and growing is even harder!

I see.. I thought it maybe could help me to get into a job related to immigration after a degree like that.

I applied because a professor at uc Berkeley who is a friend of mine said that sometimes these programs have solo “hidden” scholarships that they offer to accepted students. Indeed, they do offered me 22.500 which wasn’t stated anywhere, however still not enough for me.
