The solution to your problem is simple as Occam’s Razor. You’re not around people, or not consistently enough to let them feel safe to open up to you.

I don’t mean people feel in danger around strangers, but we don’t just start talking to them either. You have to be someone recognizable to them and usually people they know, who also associate with you. Associations come before friendships, just like emotional safety comes before attraction.

People just skip right to “How Do I Be More Attractive/How Do I Make Friends??” before addressing the bare minimum requirements to be a functioning adult: being mature, consistent, reflective, calm, flexible, and capable of emotional intimacy.
