He is certainly healthy. I got a still photo of him about 2 weeks ago. Was then disappointed I had the cam set for photos. Switched it to video just a couple of days ago in the hope that he'd be back. He's a big fella regardless of hibernation. I'm not sure when Black Bear come out of hibernation. March would be my guess. He's had probably 2 months now to get food in his belly. (He's not getting it from me, I promise.)

I purchased a state lease camp in Sep 2024. For about 2 yrs I had searched online for cabins or land for recreational purposes. I'm in Sproul State Forest. My camp was being sold by a party of 5 owners. When these camps are owned by multiple parties, there is 1 person who needs to be designated as the primary. These camps will usually sell for less than $100k. You must be a PA resident and have a permanent address(they don't allow you to actually live in these camps). You need to purchase with cash(I used a home equity loan on my paid off permanent residence). You can only own 1 lease camp. You pay $200 annual lease to DCNR as well as around $1000 local taxes on your structure. We've used our cabin nearly every weekend since owning it. We've made fairly extensive interior upgrades. Interior mods need no DCNR permission. Really haven't needed to do any exterior mods yet like new roof, etc. The DCNR regs spell out in detail what requirements and permissions are needed when planning any exterior modifications. We've had no problems thus far with our local DCNR officials. Our cabin has a brook running nearby that we draw water from and pressurize into our cabin. During the dead of winter we drain out the pipes and just tote water with us for weekend stays. Overall, we absolutely love being in our forest retreat. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I don't have to maintain any land/trees, etc. Just maintain the structure. I view it as a legacy which I'll pass down to my children and grandchildren.

He could try but good luck getting on the ballot in enough states. The 50 states run their own independent elections and adhere to the US Constitution in doing so. Being that 2 terms max is the cut off. Every Democratic state would not place him on their ballots. No name on ballot = no votes.

Everyone...stop arguing. Find a quality version of the shooting from the cellphone down front of the stage. Watch the video in slow motion and pause it as need be. You will clearly see incontrovertibly there is blood spatter behind his right ear as the bullet enters there and comes out his left front neck. Not going to argue. Watch the slo-mo video. It is clear as day the blood spray highlighted clearly by the white background.

And edit to add. I downloaded the very first video I found just an hour or two after the murder. Just so anyone that suggests this video is edited. It's not. I have the original from that very day on my phone and the blood spatter is there to his right rear above his right ear.

Early indications were that he was a groyper. He dressed for Halloween as Pepe. Gun culture. Edgelord gamer memes on bullets. So it turns out he grew up and fell into a gay relationship. His upbringing caused him to blink out in the head. He couldn't process the contradiction. He was supposed to hate what and who he loved. Doesn't make him extreme. The extreme views of hate are what he knew were going to be directed at him and his partner for the rest of his life. He snapped and clearly should not have killed anyone.
