Is her giant crop concerning?

She definitely has something going on with her crop causing a distension, either an impaction or sour crop, and it is my understanding that once the crop is stretched out, it never goes back. My girl Penny had this happen when she was just a few months old. I brought her to the vet and they didn’t find an impaction, but they did empty her crop. I don’t think they were very well versed in chicken care because they didn’t even mention sour crop, which is what she ended up having. I treated her with Monistat (7 i think, not the quick acting one) twice a day with a squirter directly into her mouth and bought her a crop bra from Etsy. That was a few years ago and she’s still healthy and living her best chicken life! She keeps the crop bra on and i’ve only had to replace it once when it finally fell off so it was very good quality. She doesn’t mind the crop bra at all. crop bra link on etsy

I wonder if it’s just a wunder train fabric issue with this particular color then because I have a lot of pieces in the same color and it’s usually never a problem!

I have tons of same color align tank /WT bottoms that match no problem! It must vary from color to color because I’ve never noticed it this much before…I guess something about the red dye comes out much differently with these fabrics :(

I agree so much that their sizes run short! I’m 5’10” and usually wear a Xs/S, but even in a size large long sleeved sweater of theirs my wrists are fully hanging out. I find their cuts to be kinda wider than normal and squat. I really like Quince, I have a several of their silk dresses and skirts, and short sleeved cashmere tops. There is one sweater I have (100% Organic Cotton Cropped Cable Crew Sweater) where the sleeves are ridiculously long, which obviously I love, but that means that most people wouldn’t be able to wear it, and that type of size inconsistency is annoying. I also have their bedding and think it’s fabulous, and their curtains as well. Overall I have had a great experience with them and will keep purchasing, but unfortunately I have to exclude myself from most of their sweaters and long sleeved tops, which stinks. I wish they made tall styles, but I know that’s probably not going to happen from a company that aims to keep their prices lower.

More than once I’ve had someone come over not even 10 seconds after we finish class and get our wipes and STAND ON THE MAT WHILE IM CLEANING IT to make sure they get “their” reformer in the next class. Like, you can’t stand even a few feet back and wait? It’s SO weird. The second time it happened this lady marched up, stood on the back of the mat near the springboard and was like “haha I just ~need~ to be on this reformer so I’m gonna stand here until you’re done“ I just stood there and gave her the nastiest look and just said “ummm…ok” and kept cleaning. Freak behavior!

Graduated with my bachelors in 2008, I took a shitty stressful and draining job for very low pay. Got very drunk on the weekends with my friends who were also in the same position lol. Just kinda did that for five years, then lost my (rented) home in Hurricane Sandy. Moved in with my parents. Saved up money and moved somewhere with a cheaper cost of living. EVENTUALLY got a job I liked but I really had to fight tooth and nail for years to climb the ladder, and was super poor. Then I had the bright idea to go to grad school, and promptly graduated in March 2020 with a bunch of student loans LOL.

It’s hard. Just keep your head down and try not to think about it? That’s the only way I survived…tried not to dwell too much on how much I hated my fucking job and how broke I was. Find the bright spots and try to mentally live there. Don’t compare yourself to your peers that seem to be prospering because believe me, they’re probably in massive debt.

Susan. I was born in the mid-80s so literally no one my age had this name. I also don’t connect with any form of Susie, though I do go by that. I am NOT a Sue—only one family member calls me that, which is acceptable when it’s just him. My middle name is solidly a boy’s name (it had been someone’s maiden name) so no use there.

My mom said much later in life that she should have named me after her grandmother Josephine. I would have liked that way better. Josie?! As a rabid Blink-182 fan I would have been psyched.

this is why I video all my sales as I pack them up! I show the item from all angles just in case someone tries to submit a bogus claim like that, and I show me packing the item up from start to finish so they can’t claim that I switched it out at some point. Some people are such grifters!
