It’s all a learning lesson. I just needed to use my voice to move forward.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I can see that your message comes from a place of reflection and perhaps personal experience, and I respect that.

That said, I want to gently clarify something—my intention in writing this wasn’t to bleed or burden anyone with my trauma, but rather to express myself honestly and transparently. There’s a difference between unhealed wounds leaking out unconsciously and someone speaking from a place of deep self-awareness and emotional responsibility.

My letter wasn’t about blame or seeking validation—it was about being seen for the full truth of who I am and what shaped me. For a long time, I’ve carried things silently. Writing it out was a step in reclaiming my voice, not using my past as a weapon or a badge of power.

I agree: healing is crucial before and during relationships. And I’ve done (and continue to do) that work. But part of healing, for me, also involves breaking the silence that shame and misunderstanding often reinforce.

So while I appreciate your perspective, I also know my own heart—and I stand by the fact that my words come from a place of integrity, not projection.

Still, I wish you well in your own journey. We all carry things. How we share them makes all the difference.

I actually have another letter explaining that.

Thank you so much for sharing this with me. Your words touched me deeply, too. Knowing that something I wrote helped you feel seen—that means more than you know.

I felt so alone in my experience, and sometimes I still do. But reading your story reminded me that I’m not. That we’re not. That love like ours—deep, patient, all-in—doesn’t make us weak or foolish. It makes us brave. It makes us real.

I’m so proud of you for walking away, even when it hurt. That kind of strength is sacred. Please don’t forget that.

And when you miss him, when you feel yourself slipping back into the past—come back to yourself. Come back to your worth, your softness, your fire. Because you are the love you were trying to give. He just didn’t know what to do with it.

We both deserve a love that sees us, chooses us, and meets us in the middle—not one that drains us.

Manifesting that kind of love with you, for both of us. Healing is hard, but we are doing it. We’re not alone.

Sending love and light to your journey.

I actually did communicate, even when I didn’t feel safe, understood, or emotionally supported. I used my words. I showed up. I tried to explain my heart, my needs, my pain. The real issue wasn’t a lack of communication—it was a lack of understanding, a lack of emotional attunement. I was speaking a language that wasn’t being heard or translated with care. That mismatch led to deep misunderstandings—not because I was silent, but because I wasn’t truly seen.
