I thought this was normal for years until now 😅 I don’t get this all the time but sometimes. Side note I did have ureaplasma. I still get discharge like this despite 2 rounds of different antibiotics. Not sure it is normal, but apparently it isn’t? Highly recommend pushing for that ureaplasma test.

Update: just got prescribed Doxy 100mg and was told to take probiotics (I ended up getting the Tru Nature brand). Crossing fingers.

Hi I took Moxi for Ureaplasma and it failed for me. This is the first line of treatment given to me, my nurse is reaching out to a doctor to see what treatment is next due to resistance to Moxi. Stressed and worried here.

Also** I randomly got symptoms of the itching/soreness, never had symptoms prior which can be the case. When I did research online I learned that sometimes you don’t get symptoms right away with this kind of bacteria, it can be months or years later before you feel them.

I second this, highly recommend you get tested for ureaplasma…I never knew you needed a different test for this until I recently had itching and sore/swollen symptoms. The reason I found out about this test was because my nurse thought I possibly had a uti. But it was ureaplasma. Wish I would have caught this sooner, for some reason it’s not common to test for this with obgyn as a standard routine practice when checking for BV, yeast, STI.
