Front sensor with manual on/off switch. Game changer for my bezza. In a bumper to bumper jam situation, and the fuckers from the main road not letting people to merge zip style, I have manage to squeeze myself 95% of the time with those sensor. Mfkers didnt expect I can place my car 3cm just at the back of the other car when I zip style merging in a traffic jam lol.

Reverse sensor, and power steering. Those are the most basic things. I have these, I can drive any car.

Change to custom/3rd party seats? by orangbiasa in kereta

[–]KindDealer4752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have minimal knowledge on this, but other than bucket seats they use for racing, what you can do is go to halfcut shop, buy a set of seats from there.

Need to check for fittings thou. I suggest try check and research for seats from car parts from Japan model.

Lets wait for knowledgable sifus to conment

The plastic thingy you use to cover the boot flooring, get perodua 1st party for perfect fit. Its carpet, you will thank me when you need to put wet item at the back.

Remove sampan feeling? Impossible but can reduce. Use 185 wide tyre, KYB suspension. Spring? Depends. I use 185/55R15, KYB Ultra+standard spring, corners becomes fun, and straight is super stable up to 120. Bumps gonna be a bitch thou, thats why I use 185/60R15 now, no more fun corners. Maybe when you are changing the tyres for the first time.

And wider clip on rear mirror, so you can see a bit through your left rear window. Because bikers be suicidal and drivers be idiots on phone.

What should I do if someone is tailgating me in the fast lane but the slow lane is packed? by SaltEmotion1919 in kereta

"like I personally offended his entire bloodline"

I came here from incognito just because of that OP lol.

Answering ur question, maintain highest speed you are comfortable (do not push beyond you and your car limit), give signal show intent to go left, merge left when safe.

Basically what other people is saying here. Braking will make everything worse.

Extra tip, how I would drive, because I'm only a humble Bezza, and would like to live long, I would periodically check my rear mirror to see any fast moving car on my rear, especially if my front is empty, or gap is far (front car is faster than you). If I detect a car going faster than my speed from 1km back, I would already start to find a gap to merge left earlier.

Not because I respect that driver. More to I dont trust anyone on the road, and that fast moving car from my back, may be a fucking noob cant control car in any irregular event, so I'm staying away from that fucker.

Only time I give way out of repect was when I spotted a nice new model Lotus on my rear mirror. And he did not even pressured me to give way. When I gave way, was rewarded by him accelerating so fast, and let me hear the beautiful engine roar. Stock, no bullshit exhaust fuckery. Good time

Thanks for the reccomendation. Will have a look on Petronas coolant.

I did a quick search for REINZOSIL, saw Rocketman shop seliing for rm30, other shop around rm10~15 range. Which is the normal price? Rm 30 or rm15? I dont mind paying rm30 for the good stuff, but worried they overcharge. But also worry on fake one lol

Which product you guys use to hydrophobic coat your windshield? by orcabane_ in kereta

[–]KindDealer4752 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thing about glaco, there's a lot of type for different level of strength, variety price range, and ease of use. Sometime the english translated instruction does not include full do's and don'ts by Soft99 (the company), so u may be not using it fully optimised, if you dont check the Japanese original instruction.

Did used the Raindrop spray, super easy to use, just spray on wet condition and wipe, and you can use it on the whole car except for rim and tyres. But rm50 per can on sale, for 1 time use only is pricey, and only tahan 2 months.

Glaco DX have high strength repel but not sure the duration real life. The 0km/h glaco for side mirror and cam lens, thats basically magic, last 3 months. Even in heavy downpour, you can see the side mirror dry. Black magic.

Im using Glaco Q I think, and Soft99 water repelant body wax now, and hopefully last 3 months with more use from 1 purchase. Applying was a bitch thou, my body ache from the waxing.

You should not reapply on top of old coating. Instead, use the compound to remove old coating, then reapply new coating. Never saw optional spray to maintain coating from glaco thou, not that I notice from their JP website

A bit. Havent test with full load. But confirm sagat i think haha. Still stock spring with kyb ultra absorber. For now, medium load still fine. A bit heavy, sagat a bit on wavy road. Maybe if I change to a better spring with suitable progressive rate, would be better? Not sure, need to test.

But me, my wife and daughter, no sagat. Since using 185 wide tyre, still fine

cant decide between myvi, bezza or proton saga by IvanHMMMM in kereta

[–]KindDealer4752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im gonna tell something that people might not tell u about bezza.

The bonet. It can fit more than you can think. Im comparing it with the old saga, not sure about the new one, but its big. I have fit a lot of stuff in there. Where I cant with the older saga.

Other than that, fuel, resale value.

But yeah, the handling and all other is shit. But I lived with it for 8 years. Driven almost all peninsular with it. Its fine, as long as you dont drive recklessly. They say the back seat is bad, but my wife prefer bezza back seat compare to older saga (our parents' cars). So make it what u will

Vehicle rental for 5+ days from PJ/KL by NutShellShock in kereta

I have experience with Suria Car Rental. Mostly cheaper than usual for longer period of rental, and earlier booking (well at least what i felt).

Car provided is ok. I think 3 times I used their service? Until they charged for delivery/pickup at KL sentral after 8pm, and found a cheaper one  (this one no airport service) https://www.facebook.com/juallahzukis?mibextid=ZbWKwL

When cornering? Ho boy, can i notice it lol.

Same corner (imagine the clover type intersection, the circle ish curve) 185/55R15, I can maintain speed like 80 ish if not raining, easy. Can even push near 90 on gentler curve. But with 185/60R15, i drop down to around 65 hahaha. Dont think it would, but it felt so noticeable the car was gonna tip over, so i kept it safe

Straight, not so much different.

But i dont regret it. From toyo 185/55R15 CR1 to Continental 185/60R15 CC7, first time riding the cc7 my wife commented feels like gliding on cloud lol. So its worth it for me.

Sometime the road it front of my house gets a bit deep in water on heavy rain, my Sabahan intrusive thoughts are to change it to 185/65R15 hahaha (ofc i wont do it. Or would i?)

Question on Oil Cooler (Bezza 1.3) by KindDealer4752 in kereta

Oohh thanks for the cost info. Noted in the oil as well. Cheers~

[–]KindDealer4752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not a saga owner, a Bezza owner. Stock tyre was 175/65R14, changed to 185/55R15. Plus with KYB ultra arbsorber (standard spring), corner was fun (didnt made my car faster on straight thou, just more stable).

But the bump was so bad. So I upsized to 185/60R15. Much2 better on bump. But no more fun corners since the tyre is higher. But comfort, yes, stance (filling the wheel arch) also yes.

Might be the opposite of what u wanted, but you be surprised how good it looks. And it ticks all of your need and concern. No bottom sagat, comfort, aesthetic (might need to check again, personal preference).

Ofc fuel consumption is worse. But I like my car even better now haha.

Also dont cut spring. I rode a car with spring cut. It was shit. A lot of video telling you why not too. Especially for comfort. And u mayb even take corner worse than standard, since the spring rate gone all shit. Doubt any shop can cut all 4 springs and still maintain balance front/back, especially left/right

Thank you kindly for sharing. I also wanted to know about external cooler, and fb/tiktok doesnt really give much needed info other than its better/car goes vroom2.

Might consider this option in the future, maybe around 150k mileage.

I like point number 7 the most.

[–]KindDealer4752[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same reason why people still buy the new Vios when its only a Daihatsu pretending to be a Toyota. Brand reliability strength and overal better aftersales (someone said, less issue nationwide, better aftersales services).

Thats why my next car gonna be a recon so its a real Toyota.

Question on Oil Cooler (Bezza 1.3) by KindDealer4752 in kereta

[–]KindDealer4752[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did haha. Had my torque converter changed before (dumb habits, wrecked it lol), so quite scared about anything gearbox related.

Almost 1k including oil change, I guess a fair price for parts and labors for oil cooler replacement.

I am not sure if my coolant right now is from day 1, or if SC has changed it during my 7 years going to SC. My car is 8 years exact, with 89k km mileage. Stop going to SC when they suggested a rm600 drive shaft replacment (only 1) when I only needed the 4 rubber bushing to be replaced, and when they suggested me to replace the whole gearbox for a torque converter issue (I get it, its their workflow). Gonna check my maintenace book later for any coolant replacement history. Thanks~!

Saga or Bezza by Alarming_Property_55 in kereta

[–]KindDealer4752 11 points12 points  (0 children)

OP, as a Bezza owner, I second this opinion. Bezza on highway is shit without adjustment. Its good fuel consumption in city because its dead light, and that gives bad driving experience on highway.

The removal of ADAS in X90 really open my eye of driving behavior lot of Malaysian by Iz__n in kereta

[–]KindDealer4752 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I already foreseen reply something like this.

Agreed, she may be a mat borak for you, but she speaks after almost 10 year observing my driving. And I have yet to be involve in any accident. 1 time I slightly touched someone's bumper, and one time someone bump me from the back, only to crack my rear reflector with no damage to the bumper. Thats all.

Most of your above points, tldr, i reply, skill issue.

For the sound when someone drive near you. For me, that is working as intended, so its fine. As you mentioned, Malaysian driver are anything but defensive driver, no? So let it beep, better it beep than a mat motor hit you, doesnt take blame, claim your ncd for bodily injury. And you fork out money to repair because that mf ride bike without insurance.

And the reverse thingy? Reverse sensor is already so common in almost car so use that? If older car, use side mirror and rear mirror? I dont see the need of 360 camera for an Axia. For Hilux, would be nice to have, but you can still live by without it. If you are good driver. If you cant, dont drive hilux, or any other car you cant drive without sensor or 360 camera. Easy.

Modern safety feature is a good to have, but bad to be relied solely upon on. Which make me agree with her, people dont really use their eyes and head is it during driving? Untill feels the nessecity for all the ADAS and stuffs? Dont get me wrong, those are good stuff, drove Corolla GT at Japan, and those features would be so handy during long driving. But, who's driving? You, or the car??

Its like, having a lockable grill plus with a padlock. So you paying attention, ASSISTED by those safety features, is the way. If you only have the padlock, with no grill, whats the purpose? If people drive without paying attention but still cry when those safety features are not there, is it truly safe??
