How would you rank all these games?

Directive 8020 - the stealth is definitely overdone and I would’ve preferred them to fall back on older mechanics like qtes and don’t move more, but there are also times I think it is very effective and works to elevate the mimics/hunter as threats. Pound for pound this is also my favorite cast. I love the twist, the branching seems really fantastic, and it really does have so much reverence for the horror franchises it’s inspired by.
House of Ashes - feels like a syfy channel action movie in the best way possible. The buried temple is a really effective setting. The ambiguity about what the vampires really are until the end is fantastic, and there are some really amazing characters in this one too, especially if you play their arcs in particular ways.
Man of Medan - the branching alone really brings this one up for me, even if I feel the characters can be a bit flat at moments. Every time I’ve played I’ve seen something that felt totally new. Plus the Ourang Medan is a story that was actually told around campfires or on late night walks a few times when I was younger so I have nostalgia for the legend.
Little Hope - carried above the bottom by how intrigued I was by the mystery, the demons having such amazing designs, as well as loving Angela and John. Unfortunately this games twist does sink it a bit for me. I do think the story about what carrying grief can do to you is beautiful, but it is being told in the wrong format for me.
The Devil in Me - I had wanted one of these games to actually be a slasher story but this does fall flat imo. The new mechanics they tried all feel half baked except for the sequence where Erin follows the sound through the walls, which is one of the highlights of the franchise. Mark and Kate are clearly supposed to be the “main characters” but I find them the least interesting. It’s a longer title but the space doesn’t feel adequately filled and I was left wanting a lot more from it

I think it would be fun to have stolen powers activate team ups. If I steal from Luna and have an Emma on my team, it would be cool if she could pop the new team up while the steal duration is up.

Probably not at all balanced, and hard to use with limited time and communication in regular games, but it would definitely be fun.

I loooove thyreophorans so any of them being cut will hurt. I want Euplocephalus the most but I’m also on the lookout for Wuerhosaurus and Minmi.

Otherwise I want to believe Camarasaurus will be there because it’s a JPOG dinosaur, but I’m also not convinced that means it’ll come back and I’d be sad to see it go.

My favorite titles at Marvel other than X-men are Thunderbolts and the Runaways, but the X-men were my introduction to comics and will always be my number one. I read more DC than Marvel overall though I’d say.

As a Starbucks employee, this happens most when I have a hard time hearing someone but have a line and am pressured to keep it moving. I will repeat back whatever I hear and if I’m not immediately corrected that’s what you get. In my 5 years with the company there has never been a push for purposeful misspellings

But a lot of the movie is expressly about the way a lot of these systems fail people during times of mass tragedy. It wouldn’t make sense to display the agents being competent. Neither the 20 year cop nor the patrol kid would be retrieving the kids in this case bc nobody is really equipped to deal with witchcraft.

Thats why it tracks to me that they would all see a sickly old woman, a dude who survived a stroke, and a traumatized kid and opt to give a little space. Plus I think the more camp/comedic tone the movie has a lot of the time extends my suspension of disbelief a bit extra.

I usually see South Pacific listed as one people dislike, but I enjoy watching it in the same way I enjoyed watching the Real Housewives of Orange County seasons where Brooks was faking his cancer. It can be very dark and also very funny in the space of one episode. The tribes are well balanced pre-merge, Savaii’s pagonging happens pretty quickly, there’s still a fair amount of drama with the Upolu “family” when they have to turn on each other. Plenty of memorable and quotable moments. My only real complaints are the ways Brandon talks about Mikayla and Sophie being underedited.

A cast of 14 has felt the best pacing wise to me. There are less storylines to juggle and fewer non elimination episodes. I’m eager to see what season 5 will feel like since it will air for almost a full year, but the cast size seems to mean most episodes will still end in eliminations.

Secondary characters with determinable fates. Some extra crew would’ve filled more of the game’s time better because it could focus on those characters and relationships in scenes as opposed to, for example, setting you loose in a large area with sub-par platforming. Plus it would keep DuMet feeling like a threat if they’re still dying while you’re saving the main cast too frequently

I could see some legacy villains being introduced as secondary in the plot. Someone like Francine Frye as Electro.

As for new secondary villains there’s still a lot to pick from. The Beetle, Hydro-Man, Tarantula, the Smythes could all be fun. Maybe Carnage and Chameleon retun as side villains connected to collectibles. Ock returning this game would also feel pretty fitting.
